Confused - - Will we be able to do Mission: Space?

We'll be in the world from 10/1-10/8 and my husband is DYING to do this attraction.

However, I've read so many things that indicate that it's either open now, closed now, or will not be open until 10/9. I'm totally baffled

Will my poor hubby be able to do this during our vacation?

I just read that MS just opened up on the 15th so there you are. I can't wait either I will be going in December.

The first week of August it was listed on the map as a "future attraction". However on the 10th of August not only was it listed on their park map as open, it was on the cover of the Epcot map. Anyone could ride it, and by the way it is a Fastpass attraction as well. They also have single rider lines as well just like on Test Track. The grand opening is listed for October but the ride is opened now. They are even running local TV ads for it now.

It was open while we were there, I rode it twice, best time was around 8:30 before Illuminations, did single rider, got right on, in my own spaceship
