Confused RE Early Entry

From what I understand, Early Entry is offered M, T, Th & Sa.

We are at Disneyland this week. Monday (EE day?) we arrived around 8:55am. They did not open the security check until 9am.

Is there a certain line for Early Entry? How do we get through security if they don't start checking bags until 9am?

We were hoping to use our EE day Thursday

MM (now magic morning, was early entry) is on Sat, Sun, Tues and Thurs. Security is usually open an hour or so before the park so people can start lining up at the gates.

They changed the Mon to Sun in January. No more Mon early entry.

That's correct. When I was talking to a CM about our upcoming trip we were told Sat Sun, Tues and Thurs..or as she said the 'days that start with S and T'.

That explains it! I found the M, T, Th & Sa info on a search, but could not find the info on the Disney website.
