Confused - need help!

Hi all!
I'm a pro at Disney, but totally NOT when it comes to Universal, so I have a quick question...
When you stay at a Premiere Hotel at Universal, do the tickets AND the express pass just automatically come with it? Do you book the tickets separate? Can't you bundle the hotel and tickets? Their website is SO confusing in this regard.

Tickets to the park are separate if you only book the hotel. Express pass is your room key. Bundling is a mistake, components to the package are cheaper separate. Your best bet is just buy your tickets during a promotion and then get your hotel room of choice and you're good to go!

When you stay at one of the 3 premier hotels, the express pass is included without charge

Hotels are operated by Loews

The parks are operated by Universal
