Confused Help!!!

I was able to snag some Really cheapo fares on Southwest Airlines, But it means I will have to leave 7am, On a Sunday morning. I am definately stating at an Airport Hotel the night before the flight.

Heres is my dilemma...
AKL is my fave hotel. I could stay one night club level and do the safari on saturday morning. The bad news is I would have no room all day on Saturday. The outlay would be 273.00 (room) 140 Safari. 413 total for one night.

Wilderness Lodge never been would like to try it. 240 (room), 30 carriage ride. 270 total one night.

Third option, The Swan hotel. Club level 216( AP rate) Late check out of 4pm. Will have a place to crash Saturday afternoon.

Any and all opinions appreciated!

i would go w/the swan option... less money, great hotel... great location... leave your bags 'til you head to the airport hotel... enjoy!

I also have one of those early SW flights--6:50 a.m. for us. It is ok, I usually can't sleep the night before the trip, I am too excited!

I would choose Swan because I live the BW area and you still get the use of Disney transportation and it is a really nice hotel. But I like all your ideas.

i think the OP's early morning flight is leaving orlando, not the morning of the trip... hence the wanting late checkout on the last full day...

We just stayed at the Swan and loved it. Not only can you check out at 4 pm, but they will hold your bags for you until later in the evening if you want to do the parks before you head to your hotel.

If you stay at the AKL, you will have the use of the Concierge lounge and resort facilities all day long on Saturday. The Sunrise Safari is a great experience.

I called the Swan as that was what I was leaning towards. And they have no discounts available till after the 12th of December. So as much as I would love the 4pm, checkout. There is no way I am paying rack rate.

It looks like AKL Club level wins out. My mom will be in standard view so maybe we will keep her room for the 2nd night, so we have the room throughout the day.

I plan on all day Friday as a nothing day. Hanging out at the resort, and I can't think of a better place to do that than AKL. I always want to try somplace else. But just can't seem to stay away from AKL.
