confused by sticky..can i call to check for pin

I read the sticky about all the pin code info. It said Disney no longer will take calls in regard to pin because agents were swamped by people calling. But as I read other post I see people are calling. I'm worried I would know if I had a pin because when I changed my carrier I lost access to the email address used to book my last 2 trips. Any advice would be appreciated

I think people still call. I called once this month and didn't have a pin but the CM was very kind while she was checking.

I just called today and the CM was very pleasant and checked for both myself and my husband! Good thing I did, because my husband had a pin!!!!

I am unsure what number to call. I called the ressie number and she didnt even take my name. She just said pins are emailed. Which brings me to my second problem. I had to change my email address and cannot connect to the old one disney has on file. Any suggestions

That's odd... I just called the reservation number and there was an option under make a new reservation that had a "questions" part! I would call back.... in the past month I called twice and both CM I reached were very helpful and never even questioned anything. I get discounts are suppose to be e-mailed and snail mail... but when I called yesterday the last address they had for my husband was over 7 years old, and we have since been there and booked under his name with our new information!!! Definitely call back and try for someone different!

You were correct. Called again and got a great agent who helped. No pins for me. But I will keep trying

I called today and was told there are no pins right now...never even asked my name. Is this true or should I call and try with someone else?

I called one time. Yelled no pins, last night was nice but again said there nothing for anyone.

I called today and asked for my upcoming trip. I was told that there were no pins right now but she noticed that my current reservation was booked with a pin (%off). I sheepishly told her that I was hoping for free dining (I felt a little greedy I must admit). But she was very nice and said that they probably would not be issued until closer to my trip, which is in August. I'll keep trying

When calling to check on a pin, do you need to give them the dates you are hoping to travel or will they just tell you what you have and what dates its valid for?

Pins have specific travel dates. They'll tell you what the pin is for.
