Ok... I have made the attempt to try wdw aug 18th to the 27th....with the free dining.... and I am waiting on the quote now.... but what I want to know is how and whwn do you make the ressies? This is my first time and I am kind of confused... Help me please and you can give your suggestions for this too...
You can start making ADR's 180 days before your scheduled vacation begins. We are arriving on the 27th and we are at 171 days I think.
My Adr's are all booked, although I may make a few changes if it is possible, I am already pretty much set.
With free dining, having ADR'S is an absolute must. Getting ADR'S will probably become harder and harder the longer you wait. But for now, it seems pretty easy. Got everything I wanted, made some changes and was still able to get what I wanted. It may not always be like this....
I am pretty sure that you need your resort reservation booked before you can make any ADRs but, while you are waiting you can go to www.allearsnet.com and look at all the menus to see what restaurants you are interested in. Each person in your party gets one TS, 1 CS and 1 snack per NIGHT of your stay so it looks like you will have 9 of each per person. Now, write down your top choices from the menus that you just looked at and call 1800wdw-dine and you will speak with a cast member. Tell that cast member the day, the time and the restaurant that your interested in. They will either give you a confirmation # or they will say that time is booked. Write down all info including confirmation # and take them with you on your trip. It is important to have this info with you in case they have lost your ressie or whatever. Oh and of course you can call back and rearrange any adrs that you want providing there is openings. Seeing as this is your 1st time-a little hint- make your adrs according to which park you think you might be at. For instance, if you are going to be at MK try and book your ressie in a MK restaurant or in one of the resorts just outside. You can't imagine how much time is lost otherwise.
