Confused About QS Desserts

So we have never purchased the dining plan before, and I am confused about how desserts work with a QS meal. I assume that at a TS restaurant, we could pick any dessert off of the menu (correct me if I am wrong). If we order a QS meal at Starring Rolls (or any other QS), would we be able to order one of their cupcakes as part of the credit? Or are there specific options to choose from? And would a child be able to pick from any dessert if there aren't any children's desserts listed.

One last question, can you order the sushi at Starring Rolls as your QS meal? Sorry, so many questions- I just can't tell by looking at the menu which items are eligible for a meal credit. Thanks!

Yes, you order off the menu, there are a few exceptions where the desserts are set up for more than one person, Grand Floridian Cafe comes to mind, they have a sampler of all of their desserts and will require that you share with another adult on the plan.

You can get a cupcake for your dessert or as a snack credit. Or are there specific options to choose from?

And would a child be able to pick from any dessert if there aren't any children's desserts listed.

I'm not sure about this, usually they'll consider grapes or per packaged cookie as their dessert.

One last question, can you order the sushi at Starring Rolls as your QS meal?

Yes, you can get sushi for your entree.
