Confused about making ADR's

When can you start making ADR's? We are going Oct 3 - Oct 8. April 3 (tomorrow) puts us 180 days out, but 90 days out is July 3. I see 180 days and 90 days, which is it...or does it vary by restaurant?

Also, what restaurants do you recommend that are the best for the kids? We will have twin 4.5 year old girls and an 18 month old girl. I think they would like Sci Fi, but all reviews I've read say the food is horrible. I don't know.

Please help!

It is 90 days out for everything at this point.

Sci-Fi is one of our favourites. We usually get burgers/fries/onion rings and they are very good. Sci-Fi and 'Ohanas are the only WDW restaurants that we enjoyed enough to go back to.

I think all restaurant ADRs are at 90 days now. I'm not sure about dinner shows though. I haven't been to WDW yet, but when we go in May we are doing quite a few character meals for my DS (4) and DD (6). Crystal Palace and Chef Mickey's are the ones mine are most excited about.

Everything is 90 days now, including dinner shows.

The one exception to the rule is if you are booking a grand gathering experience, such as a Safari Breakfast. Those (experiences only) are 180 days.
