Confused about GAD voucher-Am I understanding this correctly?

Here is my scenario:
We are doing a 7 nights/8 day stay at Pop for August 21st thru the 28th.
We currently have a package reservation including a 1 day hopper with hopes of getting Free Dining if offered.
We would also like to book Bounceback if offered. AND........
Just finished a GAD volunteering opportunity.

Our goal is to get admissions for 7 days. With park hopping for at least 6 days , but 7 is preffered.

Am I correct in the understanding that the GAD voucher cannot be used to upgrade a multi day park hopper admission? What should I do? I need some advise! Do I keep the 1 day admission that is linked to my reservation for the next visit? But won't I have to book another one day admission again , if we do a bounce back? And can I use the old 1 day admission to upgrade admissions on the next reservation done through bounceback?
If I do this , and not use the 1 day admission, would it be better to get a 6 day admission at the Undercover tourist and just use the GAD voucher for a base one day visit?

Does anyone out there know how to do this with the best savings?:confused3

Also, redeeming the voucher can only be done at a park , not a resort, right?
Which means you need to have a park admission because the will call window is inside the park beyond the ticket turnstiles, right?:confused3

My head is spinning from all these questions! Someone please give me some answers, as I would be most appreciative of it. Thank you SO MUCH in advance!:worship::surfweb:

Based on your scenario, it sounds like you would be best off getting the fastpass exchange card. The only other option is saving your one day ticket that you receive in a package for your next NON package trip where you need to buy an admilssion pass; only then can you apply the value of the one day ticket to a multi day or annual pass.

I am in the same boat hoping for free dining in August and getting a package. While I don't think the fastpass exchange is worth $80 per day which is the "value" of a one day ticket, it is still a pretty awesome perk for a day of volunteering...

Is the one day requirement for the free dining waived if you have an annual pass?
Should I consider an annual pass? Or wouldn't that work with bounce back?:confused3

I can't help on the ticket questions, but Will Call is not inside the gates. So if you do not have a ticket, that it where you pick it up. If you do have a ticket you can pick the alternatives.

You can only apply one discount or offer to each reservation. So if you are traveling with a room discount due to a great bounceback offer you can not also apply free dining. The reverse if true. If you want to take advantage of free dining (if it is offered) you must be paying rack rate for your room.

Sounds like you are trying to apply to many "deals" to your reservation.

So maybe I am not understanding your post.

Same here as many of the other PP...what exactly is your question?

If you want Free Dining (if offered)...you need a package, thus needing a min of a 1 day ticket.

You cannot combine you 1 day package ticket with the 1 day GAD voucher and use them together towards a multiday ticket. Only 1 ticket can be applied to an upgrade.

Your GAD or 1 day package ticket can/will count $79 towards the cost of an upgraded ticket (AP or any multiday ticket).

Not sure those points help at all :confused3

Will-Call is a ticket window outside of each park (and at the TTC also).

Sounds like the OP is asking 2 questions, in the original post he asked if he could combine his one day GAD pass with his one day package pass to which the answer is no. Realizing that he has a requirement to get a one day ticket every time he gets the free dining package which will be this year and next year with bounceback, the question in the OP's second post is asking if they can get that requirement waived by getting an annual pass in which case the answer is no. You still need to get the one day package ticket. It can be applied toward an annual pass or an annual pass renewal. The second question does not really pertain to the GAD ticket as obviously having an annual pass does not help the first dilemma which is having both a multi day ticket and GAD ticket voucher.

Again, my recommendation based on the OP's situation is to either opt for the fastpass exchange card or save the one day ticket from the free dining package for some time in the future when they are in a situation when they are not on a package and need to purchase tickets. At that time the one day free dining ticket can be used and upgraded as necessary.

Thank you all for your responses. I am a bit clearer on it all now. Sorry to be so confusing. Thank you Huskies90, guess we speak the same language (not sure if that's a good thing or not) ,as you understood what I was trying to explain. Again I am sorry that I didn't make myself more clear , but as I said, I was very confused. Thank you all again for all the helpful info. You are all angels!:littleangel:
