Confused about extra car insurance they try to sell you at the desk!

Hi. We have booked a car through Virgin holidays with fully inclusive insurance. We did not take out Platinum insurance but am now wondering if we should upgrade to platinum before we go if it will be cheaper that adding extras on when we get there. For instance, we will be adding on 2 additional drivers. Can anyone tell me which is the best option.
:confused3
Thank you

How much is the upgrade to platinum with Virgin? I got a quote yeterday for a Dis member from Airline network 2 weeks 7 seater van hire for £325 it was only £11 to upgrade to Platinum with any driver over 25 and full tank of gas. A tank of Gas would be way more than that.
I don't know how much it costs to upgrade at the desk but I would do it here.

Oh yes I didn't realise it wasn't that much more. quote - Platinum Package allows you to pay absolutely all charges in advance. Includes Drivers under 25, baby seats, all additional drivers, full tank of petrol. Cost is £36 I think. I didn't look at this because I only want 2 additional drivers and not the rest. Don't know how much it cost for 2 additional drivers at Orlando.

Just found info on Airnets website, it costs $6/day+tax for Additional drivers so 2 drivers I presume is $12+tax for 2 weeks with tax =$178 (£90ish) have you got a link to where you have seen car seats included in Platinum, I thought they had to be paid on top. So worth paying £36 I think:thumbsup2
