Confused about banking points

We have a April use year. The DVC planner says 100% November 30 and 0% December 1 - March 31. So this means that no matter how many points I haven't used yet for 08 has to be banked by November 30, 08? And that no points can be banked between December 1 - March 31?

We own 435 points, so far for '08 I have used 203. I may have 232 points left over so I will have to bank them by November 30th and can't use them until after April of '09?

Yes, you have to bank all the points you want to bank by November 30.

If you are not planning on another trip between Apr 1/ 08-Mar 31/09, then you would have to bank those left over points (as long as none of these points have already been banked or borrowed) by November 30th.

But you don't have to wait until April 09 to use the bank points to book ressies. Since you can book 11 months in advance. You can essentially start using those bank points beginning May 1st (11 months to Apr 1/09). I hope this makes sense. Essentially, you can use these banked points as long as the trip you will be booking for is within April 1, 2009 to March 31, 2010.

Yes, you'll need to bank all the points you want to bank by Nov 30. However, if you find you have banked all of your points, and then find you can travel between Nov 30 and April 1, you can borrow 2009 points to make a reservation, if there is a room available.
