Hi,
Planning our 5th trip to WDW... and 2nd trip with my dance school. We perform in DTD in November, 2012. We also performed there in 11/10. I know I made ADRs ahead of time 2 years ago, but I cannot remember how far out. I tried to make some this morning online, but am asked for a confirmation number.
We are staying on property at ASMovies, but I do not have a confirmation number and didn't 2 years ago either. The dance school books all the packages which include 1 counter service meal a day..but I still like to make some ADRs for other restaurants and we pay out of pocket for those.

I guess I have 2 questions..is this confirmation number new? And since I am sure I will not have one..when can I make dining reservations if I don't have one?
Thanks for any help!

If you have your reservation confirmation #, you can make ADRs 180 days from your arrival date, and you can make reservations for 10 consecutive days (which is the 180+10 perk received by on-site guests).

If you are not staying on site, or do not have and cannot get your confirmation #, you can make reservations 180 days out from the day you want to dine. If you are in this situation, and you wanted to dine on 3 different days on your trip, you would have to call to make those reservations on 3 separate days, or else wait until it was <180 days from the last day you wanted and book them all then.

The confirmation # requirement is not new. BUT if on your previous trip you made all your reservations closer to your travel dates than 180 days out, you might not have needed it.

Thank you Vicki! I am not sure when I made them last time.. and we are not looking to go to any overbooked ones like Le Cellier or the castle.. so I think we'll be okay. I just don't remember needing that number before and wondered when people staying off site could make reservations.
I could maybe get the confirmation number from the dance school... but I am not sure when -- they book the group rates through a travel agent, I am pretty sure.
I will keep trying.. I think I might be a little early.. we will be there 11/8.
Thanks for your helpful reply!
