Have a question about AAA booking - wasn't able to get a good answer from Disney about this, so I was hoping that someone here may have done something similar.
Basically, we have a 8 night reservation with 7 days of MYW plus tickets and the meal plan. We added another ticket day (but not meal day) and it was $12 for the 4 of us. Looks like we could do the same for ticket days 9 and 10 too - $12 per day.
We're doing this because after our 8 night stay at PopC, we're planning on a 3 night stay at either SS or BWV by renting DVC points. This would be a wind down period without too much park action, but for $12 a day we thought it would be nice to pop in somewhere for fireworks or a parade at night.
ANYWAY... If I book though AAA, they only have a 7 day or a 10 day ticket and the jump from 7 to 10 is around $30 a day instead of the $12 when I add it on to a disney booked package.
When I called Disney to see if I could add days (no meals or rooms - just tickets) on to a AAA booked package, they said I couldn't do it through the phone resv, but that I could add them when I get to the hotel - however, she didn't know if the price would be the same as through them or not.
I guess, in summary has anyone booked a MYW package via AAA and then added ticket days (not room or meals) onto the ticket upon arrival? If so how much did it add for each extra day?
