Yep, April 23rd PotC is closed for refurbishment, No date given on reopening. I assume it won't be open during my trip (24th-28th)

Unless the refurb gets pushed back for some reason (and you'd most likely read about that news here, if it happened), no, POTC won't be open during your trip. But, BB should still be open if you want to enjoy the bayou atmosphere a little bit. Usually during a refurb there is still water and mood lighting in the bayou section (if no work is being done there). I just looked on the DLR website, and there are times open for BB during your dates.

Yes, the long-rumored date (which some, although not all, people were previously getting confirmation of by Guest Services) has now been OFFICIALLY CONFIRMED.
Again, we'll have to wait for confirmation but I've repeatedly read POC will be down thru May 24th, reopening in time for Memorial Day weekend.
I'm so sorry it will be closed for your visit. :-(

*Edit: Wrong about the May 24th date. Official word POC closed thru June 7th.

It's not that big of a deal, I'm happy that the Matterhorn is reopened though. I can show the kids the ride inside BB, but won't eat there, kids are picky eaters and I feel this will be more of a waste on them. Pizza port is their choice I'm sure.

Anyway, a pirates life will have to wait for them until next time and we will enjoy the other rides that are open which is basically most of them.

Where did you read that about the bobsleds? I was starting to wonder if I should reschedule (first trip, so many closures) but if that is open as well now, that's encouraging for me.

Devastated! I was soooo looking forward to this one! Would rather have this ride over the bobsleds, but oh well!
