Can anyone explain why reservation confirmation sheets don't include a note for requests? Is it true that DVC is no longer taking requests other than disabled room etc.?

No that is not true - you can still put in requests. The confirmation's have never shown requests and the only way to confirm they are there is to call MS.

Because DVC is in the dark ages when it comes to the IT department or maybe they feel that the members don't have anything better to do than call MS.

After reading these boards, I'm amazed by how many times people call MS. I should get a discount on my MF. I have owned for about 8 years and probably have called less than a dozen times.
