Confirm for the that is awesome WDW budget

We spend a lot on food on our trips. We pack snacks ( but may buy a few) and bring oatmeal, muffins, granola bars, peanut butter/cracker packs, etc and water. I'm wondering how you eat for $22 per person for a day…? Do you pack lunches too? That would still be a trip cost, right? Food that you need to bring?
We also have three people...

I think you did everything right and you know what you are doing. So have a great trip!
PS After this winter I think everyone would be happy with just the warm weather.

The food price I posted is for meals and one Disney snack. I did not factor snacks from home and water into that price. I figure that's part of my normal grocery budget, not vacation eating. If you do the math for counter service meals, we are spot on. DH and I always share a large pop at lunch and then have water for dinner. I did factor in one mug. Will help with my coffee in the morning and DH's pop/soda fix at night. Meals for DD 6 are almost always $5.99, which includes milk. I can also see us splitting a large adult dinner maybe once or twice. Hey, it helps when you have light eaters and don't splurge for dessert. I'm thinking DH and DD may split a dessert here or there. But I've had no sugar/desserts since Dec. 27 and the only thing I may break that on is a Dole whip. Other than that, I'm good! Again, been there, done that, so my over-eating and splurging days are behind me.

Unfortunately we are past the kid meal days :(
What are your go to CS places?? I always struggle with that. I can usually find something okay to eat ( not great, although I love the fish and chips at EP/England!) but what I don't like about CS is the hurried and rushed and noisy atmosphere.

Epcot Tangeriene cafe or Sunshine seasons no rush and great food...:thumbsup2
MK- Columbia Harbor house or beast castle lunch
AK- Flame Tree barbecue(most relaxing lunch ever)

We love Earl of Sandwich and try to go there at least nice a trip, usually on our first night or on a night where we don't plan to go back to the parks. $5.99 for a sandwich or salad. We love Pecos Bills at MK. Yes, it can be busy during peak times, but we've found it to be quieter in the back. Also with BoG open, I wonder if that takes some of the crowds. We really like Flame tree BBQ at AK. I love the salad and DH always gets a BBQ sandwich of some sort. We love that the tables are in covered pavillions that are away from the general park/restaurant area and some overlook the water and Everest. We usually spend the longest lunch here because it's so relaxing!

We eat in the room for all but one bfast, so we feel like we find good choices for CS places for lunch and dinner and don't worry about prices. Go to the menus at All Ears.net and look at the all the CS places and decide ahead of time, then plan to eat there. I eat healthy and there are so many fantastic options for salads. I look forwards to my fav salads at certain locations and when they change them, it's sad to me because it becomes a fav just like the meals some people have at sit downs!

I know some people who eat their way around Epcot and share. They do snacks or share at each of their fav countries so that they can try more, not break the bank, and eat smaller portions over a longer time.
