I see there are cones available at Storybook Treats, but they are combined dole whip and regular soft serve. I need dairy free for ice cream - do you you know if it's possible to get say the lemon on it's own? Or is it already mixed together with the soft serve?

I also can't eat pineapple, so that's out.

I’ve never been to this eatery so can’t say but have you seen pics of it? I’m guessing it’s one Dole Whip swirl machine and then another machine with soft cone but am only thinking this.

I've only seen pictures of the cone and it's swirled together.

I was able to get a wonderful lemon dole whip cone here (Snow White design) and I miss it! I don't know why the two they have on the menu now are both mixed with regular soft serve. I wish they kept one dairy free.

I can eat cheese, but not ice cream, go figure!

I want to say that I think that you could get it, as I believe they come out of different spouts, but I am not sure if the CMs will do that for you, and I also couldn't be 100% sure that no soft-serve would get in there depending on how the dispenser is set up.

I'll find something else. It's not a necessity, just a want! 😄

Well, it can't hurt to ask. I know that other locations will have Dole Whip, soft serve, OR a swril, so I think they can dispense either-or, but I am not 100% sure. Also, if it's not on the menu it could be an issue, but CMs are usually pretty good about trying to make it work if they can.

One vegan WDW site did say that the "themed cones are not usually modifiable" at Storybook Treats, but that you could ask, so that's maybe not a great sign. That's not any kind of official information though. You can get just Dole Whip at Sunshine Tree and Aloha Isle, but not the lemon. I couldn't find anywhere where lemon was served on its own.

This is not what you asked, but just chiming in here about Swirls on the Water at Disney Springs for anyone who doesn't know about it. Rotating flavors of dairy free Dole Whip, usually several flavors at a time. For instance the current menu shows Pineapple, Strawberry, and Lime; a Sampler that includes a whole mix of flavors; as well as an Orange Bird cone and a Key Lime Waffle Sundae. Okay, yummmmmm.

I am also a member of the "can eat most cheeses but ice cream does not agree" club - though I still try to make ice cream love me from time to time. 😢😂
