We have family of 5 or 6 in my MIL comes with us. Years ago we stayed on-site but the last few times were offsite at Windsor Hills. Is there a condo complex that is between Disney and Universal? What are the best options?

We are planning a mid-late July trip for about a week and want to hit a few Disney Parks and mostly Harry Potter at Universal. Then maybe a beach day.

How many days do I need at Universal if I mainly want to see the Potter attractions? Do I need 2 days? Also wondering if I should stay a few days onsite at each resort if it helps with fastpass and Universal's ticketing.

We just returned from a Universal/Disney trip. We stayed at the Marriott Harbour Lake. It is very close to Sea World and is about 10 minutes from both Universal and Disney. There's another Marriott right across the road as well. We rented a studio but I know they have 1 and 2-bedrooms. We were very happy with both the resort and the location.

Not 100% sure about them having never stayed there. But there is a Westgate Resorts condo complex on Turkey Lake Road which is pretty much right between Disney & Universal. It is right down the road from our condo where we live in Dr. Phillips. Just another option you may want to look in to.

HERE is a link to the property.

Check this one out. I live in the area and yeah right in the middle.

lol ... That's Lake Vue Condos and they are pretty much brand new. We live about a mile from those condos and yes, they are pretty much right between Disney and Universal. You can also take Central Florida Pkwy to I-Drive if you would like as well avoiding The 4 all together. Plus, you don't have to get on The 4 to get to any of the parks which is really handy.

I don't know if it matters to OP but short term rentals are illegal in Orange County... so that apartment renter is breaking law.
