I can't decide between these two! Which would you choose? Keep in mind we are a family of red meat lovers!! Opinions please- I just realized I have to make my ADR's NEXT WEEK!! :faint:

We are going to both in Sept. We couldn't decide which and since we are on the dining plan we decided to do both. Le Cellier was a very hard ADR to get! I have never ate at either so I am not a big help but I have been reading alot of reviews and it sounds like the steak are great at both. The only concern we have about the Concourse steakhouse is it's location. It shares a wall with a open ceiling with Chef Mickey's and our DD might drive us crazy to go to CM's!! lol

I've not been to Le Cellier yet, although I plan on it for our next trip, DH is a huge steak fan, so it's only right we get to each and every steak restaurant in the World - right? ;) :teeth:

But we have eaten at Concourse, and it was very good. If you can manage to go at an "off" hour (we went for a late dinner, about 8:30) - Chef Mickey's might just be quieter than usual. We didn't hear anything going on there while we were eating.

One thing cool about Concourse, is it's in the middle of everything, but somehow, it doesn't seem that way when you're in there. It was actually quite relaxing and the food was excellent. Oh, and I had a DELICIOUS mixed drink - some citrus sunrise something - I can taste it now - mmmmmmm... :sunny:

We are also doing both. DH loves steak, so I thought he would enjoy them both. I think he is even going to have steak at Wolfgang Puck's Cafe.

Can you make room for both of them on your trip?

DH, DS and I had a fabulous meal at Le Cellier in February. Now it's on our must-do list. A friend and I are going for a girls' shopping-eating weekend in about 2 weeks, and we're trying Concourse for the first time. I hear the food is great, but I'll post MY review when we return. Keep in mind, we're not going into the parks while there for this girls' only trip. If I had the option, I'd probably choose LC, just because I think it has more atmosphere than CS (what with it's very noisy neighbor, Chef Mickey!). But after I taste the food there, I may change my mind! ;)

Le Cellier would be my choice - it has a great atmosphere and the food is fantastic. It is quiet enough to have a pleasant conversation but loud enough that you do not have to shsh your kids. Enjoy whatever you choose!

We've eaten at Concourse many times, we love it. Good adult drinks. I love their Contempo margarita. We started going there because they have steaks on the kids menu. DD loved it enough she finished everything. Even the salad. Only thing for me that is a downfall is they have recently altered their menu slightly. I think the red pepper vinaigrette is gone now :confused3 I loved that dressing. Also they have slightly changed the mashed potatoes before they were just garlic now it looks like they have parmesan in them too. Unfortunately I'm allergic. Oh well the steak and the drinks are still worth it.

We are trying Le Celliers for the first time this trip. We tried getting ADRs the day we were at Epcot but they had nothing available.

I liked them both, but dh like Concourse better. There was no noise from Chef Mickeys when we dined there and dd was with us. We had a great meal! I liked LeCelliar too. Each experience was very different. I enjoyed the atmoshere at the Concourse more.

OMG! I showed my dh both menus and he actually had an OPINION! So we are going to go for Le Cellier. Usually he just says, "Whatever you want." so it was nice that he gave some input!! Thanks everyone!

We did both when we were there 2 weeks ago. My husband said concourse steak was better than lecellier and he is a die-hard LC fan! he said that red wine butter made the world of difference on his steak, really tasty. Also, we did not hear any of chef mickeys either. I don't know how they sound proof it, but you just don't hear it. I like the sound of the monorail whizzing thru every once in awhile!
FYI, we noticed le cellier had a steak on the kids menu too. Either way, you cannot go wrong!

Don't waste your time with Concourse Steakhouse. We went in November of last year as a last minute addition and the food was terrible. The service was less than spectacular for the amount of $$$ that we spent. My wife and I are steak lovers and have eaten at Shula's, Emerill's and Bone's (in the atl). The Concourse ranks right up there with Golden Corral. The Prime rib had no taste and was very fatty, the filet my wife got was almost to tough to cut with the steak knife. The side dishes were so bland I can't remember what we got. The only redeeming factor was the decorate your own cookie that my DD got for desert. I have yet to try LeCellier, but based on what we got at Concourse it cuoldn't be any worse.

You will love LeCellier! The mushroom Filet is wonderful and the Cheddar Cheese soup is amazing , especially with the pretzel breadsticks! Enjoy!

If you love steak, you must try the char crusted New York strip at Flying Fish. I had it last Nov. and it was the best steak I've ever eaten, and I've had a lot of steaks.

Le Cellier is great, Yachtsman was so-so, and I have not tried Concourse. But for the best steak in the World, I'm going back to Flying Fish in January.
