Can you tell me your thoughts on Concourse Steakhouse for lunch? We've never been for any meal, and we're thinking of going for lunch one of the days we're in MK. What's good? What's not so good? Thank you!!

We ate there for the first time this past December. They have mostly sandwiches and salads on the menu for lunch. Huge sandwiches and salads! The food was excellent. Their ceasar salad was one of the best I ever had.

If you do eat lunch here you might want to split your order with someone else. We ordered a steak sandwich and the ceasar salad and ask the server if we could split them. No problem. We still did not finish our meals.

The service was excellent and the restaurant has a nice open feel about it. For some reason it had never occurred to us to eat here but when we were coming down the escalator we overheard someone behind us mention that the sandwiches were great so we thought, why not give it a try. I'm sure that we will return again.

We ate lunch there on our last two trips. We split our stays between the Poly and the BWV, and during the first part of our trip we would visit the MK and then hop on the Poly and have lunch at the Concourse Steakhouse.

While I wouldn't rave about it, we did enjoy ourselves both times we went. There is nothing overly special about the restaurant, but it's nice to be sitting inside of the Contemporary and watching the monorail coming through.

The service was good, and the food was very good. It's just basic lunch fare, although there are different options available. My wife had a burger and I think I had a cheesesteak. DD had a grilled cheese and DS's had chicken wings. The shakes were really good.

Overall it's a good place to have lunch. It's not expensive, and it's nicer then just grabbing a burger in a fast food type place. The convenience of being on the monorail is a plus also.

I think it's a very good spot for a meal. Also it's a fun chance to see the CR. :earsboy:

we had lunch there in april 2005 and it was pretty poor. I had a philly cheese steak that they just got wrong. The french onion soup was ok, but obviously a left over from dinner.

Sallad was ok....

I'd vote to skip.
