concierge upgrade?

We will be booking a garden view or lagoon view (cant decide) room at the Poly for the last week of August. I've heard of folks asking for an upgrade to concierge at check-in and wonder if the resorts are still doing this (if they are available obviously).

And if so, whats been the going rate for this last minute upgrade. Thanks so much!

In most cases, the last minute upgrade to concierge is going to be the difference in the rack rates. I have heard of WL offering a discounted rate for concierge in the past, but I'm not even sure if they are still doing that.

You might luck out that there will be a concierge room available because it's a slower time of year, but you most likely will still have to pay full rate.

I just posted on another thread that we got an upgrade at Wilderness Lodge two years ago from woods view to concierge. It cost us $25.00/night. We were there in June and it was quite busy. It was a wonderful experience.
