Concierge Questions???

Can anyone who has stayed concierge before please tell me about them making reservations? Don't they make all your reservations ahead of time ??? Am I right? Or do they only make Priority Seating arrangments. For example I am trying to book the grand one fireworks cruise , cindy's etc and I am worried that it might fall thru?? Should I also try myself?? Thanks for all your help.PS we will be staying at WL
 
The concierge staff can help you with all your arrangements. I was in the hospital when the 90 day window came and went for our trip, and the Poly concierge office was able to secure CRT and a fireworks cruise for us. I would contact them with your requests about 100 days out or so, depending on what you are looking for. :wave:
 
I also had them make all of my PSs. They were able to get all of them that I wanted at the times that I wanted. They also booked a specialty cruise for me with no problems. I would let them do it, that is what they are there for, and that is what they told me.

I was upgraded to Concierge when I went to the BC one time for free. I already had PS set up for the entire trip but on our floor was two CM's at a desk waiting to help the guests. The only thing I asked them for was "more wine" when the room ran low one night. They looked eager and attentive to serve whomever came their way. I would imagine they could do damn near anything!!!

I generally let the concierge staff take care of all the details. But with "impossible" things like the Grand One on July 4th, Cindy's, etc., I also make the calls.

Like ducklite, I like to make most of my reservations except for those hard to get places like Breakfast at Cindy's, and special events... and they have arranged Grand 1 for us twice. You would be surprised the magic they can work sometimes. I sure have...

I can understand wanting to do the "impossible" ones yourself but how they explained they way ressies work, it would not help and its why you use the concierge staff in the first place. I was told that all cancellations are not immediately returned to the system but rather are returned during the overnight hours when no one can make a PS. Then the concierge staff gets first crack at them before the reservation system opens to the public. If this is true then you should never be able to get a PS or specialty cruise that the staff could not.
