Joan1, I will attempt to answer your question; since, there has been no response. I will start by saying that I have not stayed at PPH, I stayed concierge at DLH last Sept., and I inquired about concierge for our stay at GCH for this Oct. At PPH and DLH, concierge includes turndown service, help with scheduling issues (can probably be done without concierge), and the biggie...the lounge with drinks (water, juice boxes, and soda) most of which can be taken into the park. It is my opinion that, at these hotels, it is worth it. At GCH, turndown service is performed for all rooms (according to website) and is not just for concierge. It seems that for the extra 300 a night, all you get is the lounge and free movie rentals for the dvd player. Question, how much time are you going to spend watching movies in the room. Also, can you eat $300 worth of food from the lounge? When they told me that it would be an extra $1500 for our stay to stay concierge, I lost my teeth. I mean, if you can afford it, it might be worth it. I just can't justify it. I can go down to WWS and get bagels for breakfast cheaper than the extra $300. Good luck with your decision.
EDIT: You can watch the fireworks from the lounge with the music piped in, but I understand that you can see the fireworks from a DTD view, too. That is what I have requested. Cheaper!
