Hi!

My wonderful fiance and I have booked our honeymoon at the Boardwalk Inn concierge for April 27-May 4th. We are so excited! This is his first time ever at WDW, and my first time in concierge. I was wondering, when do they normally contact you? And what can we expect from concierge. We really have no idea!

Thanks for the help everyone!

Lisa

Sometimes concierge contacts you and sometimes they don't - we have had both happen. I would sugggest calling them at : (407) 934-1448. I called today and spoke with Lauren and she made several P.S.'s for us. Have your list ready and give them a call! :)

Thanks for the reply! I will try giving them a call. Anyone else have any other info for us? We are new to concierge!

Were staying at the GF on April 21, 22, and 23rd.

We just received a letter from the concierge staff offering their services planning our stay.

It came a little over a month before our stay.

Yours will probably come in another week.

Have a wonderful time!

Karen

As a former Concierge CM I can tell you that they serve as kind of your personal Disney assistant. They are very knowledgeable and like to make your stay extra magical. Concierge is a limited access bldg or floor. They also usually have a continental brkst, snacks throughout the day, a cocktail time and late night snacks as part of your rate.

You might want to check out this site as it gives a great overview.

We rec'd a call from the Poly concierge the day after we booked our room for our June stay. They have been so great.

You'll love concierge. It's a bit like staying in a smaller hotel within a larger complex. Utilize the concierge staff by having them make all the priority seating arrangements for you. I highly recommend making these dinner reservations. Remember you can always change them, even at the last minute, but they will save you hours of waiting for a table. You might also want to think about seeing Cirque du Soleil. It is worth every penny.

I like to head back to the resort early evening, shower and change, and head to the concierge lounge for drink and appetizers. Then maybe dinner and back for cordials and dessert. Make the most of all that food and drink.

Have a great honeymoon!
