Today we got our AKL concierge packet in the mail and our stay is June 17-20. We have 2 GF concierge stays planned before then (May 20-25 and June 6-13) but have yet to receive anything from them. Should we contact the GF, or did AKL just send out our stuff early? Also, can we fill out the planning sheet for events we'd like to schedule before we arrive at that resort? What I mean is that we'd like to see La Nouba while during our GF part of the June stay (we'll be on the Disney Wonder between the GF and AKL) so can we ask the AKL concierge to book it for us, or do we have to wait until we get our planning info from the GF?

The GF didn't send me anything prior to my last stay, so I contacted them first (when I first began staying there years ago as a concierge guest, they used to always send me something in the US Mail and always left me telephone messages). Once initial contact was established for my last trip, the communication was good.

The AKL has always contacted me first (a really nice touch that I always appreciated). And communication with them was always good.

Who to book your PS reservations? I normally book all my own PS reservations, even when I am a concierge guest. I try to leave nothing to chance (mistakes happen all the time and I prefer to be in control of my fate whenever possible). But the AKL has never botched anything for me, and my last GF stay was flawless (click here for trip report), so I can't complain. If I were you, I would try them both just so that I could make up my mind regarding which one provides better service and better suits my needs. If you don't want to complicate things like that, then pick the resort where you either begin your vacation or where you'll be spending the most days. Once you've picked one, let them know that you will be asking them to make reservations for your entire vacation even though you are splitting your concierge stay amongst two of them. I can't imagine either resort complaining about this, you are a Disney guest first and foremost.

Have a wonderful vacation.
