Besides your better-appointed stateroom and hosts who are willing to provide you with more personalized service and early access to booking restaurants, activities, possibly a Cabana at one of the Cays, a reserved seating area in the Walt Disney Theater (evening shows), and a special lane for embarkation (with Terminal lounge at many ports) with escort for embarkation and disembarkation, possibly your own ramp at the end of the day at ports, you have the
Concierge Lounge.
This video does a nice job of showing the lounge and the food that is available throughout the day.
The hours for the Lounge were shown as 7am - 10 pm. On the Magic, this was not a feature in the ship when built. They took a public lounge and converted it. It is on Deck 10, overlooking the adult pool, with lots of natural light. The space is broken into three sections: the middle with a few tables, a seating area with upholstered chairs that looks out to the port side and has the bar counter, and the starboard side with partially open-air walls - a half wall glass to railing over the pool below.
There is an elevator that opens right across from the lounge. The midship.
They stated there was fresh food around the various meal times and at tea time. Coolers contained canned coke products, ginger beer, Perrier, bottled and canned water, fruit juices, yogurt, milk, muffins (I suspect gluten free), even clotted cream.
There is at least one machine for coffee beverages with flavored syrups. Not just standard coffee.
I believe the bar is tended in the afternoon. Someone else will have more info on this.
You should be able to find a Host available for assistance in the Lounge. They are your go-to for Guest Services issues.
…When we were in Concierge before this area existed, the hosts would bring us movies, popcorn, afternoon snacks. The current set-up would seem to provide you more autonomy (which I prefer). The drawback for some is that the Lounge is not close to all Concierge-level cabins. We stayed immediately across the hall from the Lounge on the Dream; it was easy for a quick pop-in.
I loved the food options on the Dream. Those displayed in the video look equally as fun. It is definitely a step up from what you find in the Cabanas buffet. But it is more of a tapas experience - little plates, but as much as you like. It reminds me of the Executive lounge at the Hilton Diagonal in Barcelona or a
very good airport lounge.
I’ve watched the Concierge guests line up inside O’Gill’s pub to access special seating for the shows (I think that was who it was - perhaps for box seating). I believe you also are provided with popcorn at the shows (it is for sale to all guests outside the WDT and the Buena Vista movie theater.
No special dining room nor outdoor pool/water area that I can find.
