Concierge on Magic - Perks?

Besides your better-appointed stateroom and hosts who are willing to provide you with more personalized service and early access to booking restaurants, activities, possibly a Cabana at one of the Cays, a reserved seating area in the Walt Disney Theater (evening shows), and a special lane for embarkation (with Terminal lounge at many ports) with escort for embarkation and disembarkation, possibly your own ramp at the end of the day at ports, you have the Concierge Lounge.

This video does a nice job of showing the lounge and the food that is available throughout the day.

The hours for the Lounge were shown as 7am - 10 pm. On the Magic, this was not a feature in the ship when built. They took a public lounge and converted it. It is on Deck 10, overlooking the adult pool, with lots of natural light. The space is broken into three sections: the middle with a few tables, a seating area with upholstered chairs that looks out to the port side and has the bar counter, and the starboard side with partially open-air walls - a half wall glass to railing over the pool below.

There is an elevator that opens right across from the lounge. The midship.

They stated there was fresh food around the various meal times and at tea time. Coolers contained canned coke products, ginger beer, Perrier, bottled and canned water, fruit juices, yogurt, milk, muffins (I suspect gluten free), even clotted cream.

There is at least one machine for coffee beverages with flavored syrups. Not just standard coffee.

I believe the bar is tended in the afternoon. Someone else will have more info on this.

You should be able to find a Host available for assistance in the Lounge. They are your go-to for Guest Services issues.

…When we were in Concierge before this area existed, the hosts would bring us movies, popcorn, afternoon snacks. The current set-up would seem to provide you more autonomy (which I prefer). The drawback for some is that the Lounge is not close to all Concierge-level cabins. We stayed immediately across the hall from the Lounge on the Dream; it was easy for a quick pop-in.

I loved the food options on the Dream. Those displayed in the video look equally as fun. It is definitely a step up from what you find in the Cabanas buffet. But it is more of a tapas experience - little plates, but as much as you like. It reminds me of the Executive lounge at the Hilton Diagonal in Barcelona or a very good airport lounge.

I’ve watched the Concierge guests line up inside O’Gill’s pub to access special seating for the shows (I think that was who it was - perhaps for box seating). I believe you also are provided with popcorn at the shows (it is for sale to all guests outside the WDT and the Buena Vista movie theater.

No special dining room nor outdoor pool/water area that I can find.

I was just on the Magic in Concierge last month! There's no benefits that are really specific to the Magic, but here's a great list of Concierge benefits overall (it's off the top of my head, so probably not comprehensive, but what stood out to me)
  • Early boarding-you automatically get the earliest PAT and Boarding Group 1. (In Port Canaveral and Port Everglades you also have a special waiting area at port).
  • First crack at onboard activities, spa, adult dining, cabanas at Castaway Cay and Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point
  • Room fridge stocked with water and sodas (you can specify what, and it's refilled every day)
  • A guaranteed private table in the main dining rooms
  • A welcome gift in your stateroom (it's always been a fruit basket for us)
  • a lounge, open from 7am-10pm. On the Magic, it's recently redone, so it's very bright and airy with lots of windows and a decent amount of seating. I LOVE the fancy coffee maker in the lounge (there's two of them).
  • Light bites/snacks stocked in the lounge almost the entire time it's open (there is some 'down time' as they transition)
  • 3 concierge hosts who will take care of everything for you (we were told that we couldn't even say "guest services" around them)
  • 3-4 lounge bartenders who will make/serve drinks in the evening (and be around during the day to clear plates, etc.)
  • Free drinks in the lounge from 5-10pm.
  • The opportunity to request specific alcohol to be stocked in the lounge (not your stateroom). It's not a guarantee, but if they have it, they'll do it.
  • Earliest online check in window (though with the earliest PAT and BG 1 automatically assigned, there's really no reason to hustle to online check in at midnight eastern).
  • Priority seating for the theater shows (they escort you through a back entrance-on the Magic it's at O'Gill's and you have your pick of seats) plus popcorn and water (you can go to the lounge beforehand to get a drink to bring with you).
  • A character meet and greet-you won't know ahead of time who and what day, but they will let you know once you're on the ship.
  • A limited-edition lithograph by Don "Ducky" Williams
  • Having a bigger stateroom-the suites are only available if you have concierge (if you have a one-bedroom suite or above, you can get meals from the main dining rooms delivered to your room).
  • Priority disembarkation-they will escort you down and let you skip the line on debarkation day (up til a certain time)
  • A special lunch on embarkation day-the hosts will come around and introduce themselves
  • Free Wifi-how much depends on your stateroom type

Thank you for this information! I am traveling concierge for the first time in September 2025 and this is very helpful information. I decided to splurge for my mom and I and I booked a 1 bedroom as it has been a rough 2 years for both of us and I felt we needed to splurge... a once in a lifetime.

Ooooh you'll love it! I will warn you, my family splurged and did a 1bd on the Fantasy and we said it was a "once in a lifetime" thing. Next thing we know we're upgrading a sailing we already had booked to concierge (while still on the Fantasy), and we've since upgraded our Transatlantic sailing to concierge. It can be hard to go back once you've had all the perks.

Specific to a one-bedroom, you will be able to order dinner from the main dining rooms in your room. There are usually two delivery times (aligning with main dining room seatings) and everyone in your stateroom has to order from the same MDR (but it doesn't have to be the one you were assigned to dine in that evening. You will also get the middle tier WiFi package for free for everyone in your stateroom (one device only, but you can swap the plan between devices if you don't need to use more than one at a time).

Also, I forgot to mention on the Magic that there's also a nice covered sundeck off the concierge lounge. There's some small tables, couches, and some rockers-it overlooks the adult pool. Concierge also has free sunscreen and eyeglass cleaners out on the sundeck.

If you every have any questions about concierge, feel free to reach out. It's an amazing experience and I hope you and your mom enjoy after the couple years you've been through!
