Concierge Food

depends on what kind of rate you get for the room in the first place. For instance--we are doing Poly concierge in a few weeks. Rack rate would have been $2188 ($547/night for 4 nights) You'd have to eat alot of food for that! I did have the reservation with a 10% DC, which made it $1969 ($492/night) which was still in the high range, but we are splitting the room cost two ways, and it's peak season, short trip....amazing how you can justify expenses at WDW! Anyway, just got an AP rate last Saturday of $1128 ($282/night) So splitting the room will cost me $564 (or $141/night) and for that, I can eat enough, plus take enough water bottles to make it worth it! Don't know about breakfast (continental--probably the standard fare) but I have this from another board:

I am a little confused about the concerige food? When are these meals served? So you get a continental breakfast and dinner? Which hotels offer these rooms with the concerige package? When calling what do I ask for? Any help would be appreciated.I am not going until next year but am gathering all of my information to start planning. Thanks again

I have stayed in the majority of the ocncierge on WDW property....It has more or less all the same as far as food goes....with the exception on what is servered....I liked the YC the best!! I have two links under my sig...that has several of the concierge lounges wiht food....and the rooms so you can get an idea of what it is like!

Just like with resort packages, you should do the math. DH and I are going to be staying at the YC in Dec. We currently have ressies for a water view room. I checked into concierge rates and the difference is $120.00/night. For just the two of us, that's just not worth what really amounts to snack foods and drinks. For $120.00 we could get alot more food and drinks at one of the restaurants. Now if you have more than two people in a room it might be worth it. So the moral of the story is "Do the Math !!"
