Has anyone used the concierge collection to go to hawaii,There are two hotels that look really nice. One is the Grand something on maui?
Thanks

No, we felt the points were too high for the conceirge collection, and they are hotel rooms. We did do an II exchange though, and had a 1 bedroom with 2 baths in Kona for a week. We felt it was a great deal at 160 points for a week. Loved the location too. The big island of Hawaii is our favorite, and we also did another timeshare exchange to Princeville, Kauai the same trip for another week. Those are always my favorite islands, but we always like to add a few days on each end of the trip on Oahu too. Kind of eases you into and out of paradise!

YES! We used our points for an oceanfront room at the Grand Waillea... we were upgraded to their tower with concierge service... (I put a post you could search for on the DVC Miscellaneous board).... We were only able to stay 1 night, but I'd be in for 3 more sometime.... it was a fabulous experience.... the resort itself is beautiful, and the pool and three times amazing! The cash price on that room without the upgrade was 800.00, with the upgrade (for no apparent reason) that room was 1400.00, a great use of 80 points IMHO!

FABULOUS experience we wouldn't have had otherwise!
