Has anyone stayed here? It's listed under the collection but not on the points chart. Thanks!!!

I am also interested in the answers to this question. We would like to stay there too.

We've stayed there a few times in conjunction with the National Gingerbread Challenge. It is a beautiful hotel, inside and out. Some of the rooms are bigger than others. The original wing has smaller rooms but they are very quaint and historic.

The newer wings have bigger rooms and they feel more modern. We like to stay there when we visit Ashville. It is a bonus if you visit around Christmas and get to see all of the fantastic gingerbread houses.

Oh, if you get a chance to visit the spa, do it. It is fantastic. It is a grotto with an outside portion that overlooks the mountains.

Looks like it has now been removed from the list of Mountain Resorts on The Concierge Collection page. What a shame. After this post I checked it out and thought it would be a lovely place to go next year for our anniversary since we have friends that have a summer home not far from there.

The good hotels always get taken out of the concierge collection eventually.
Grove park Inn has always gotten mixed reviews. Some parts of the resort and some rooms are run down according to some reviews. But there are always just as many good reviews as bad reviews.
The best resort in Ashville hands down is the Inn on the Biltmore Estate. Very pricy though.

Asheville resident, here. The Grove Park is lovely for its historic value and views. I agree that the Christmas season is a highlight. The Inn on Biltmore Estate is also lovely, but doesn't have quite the charm of the Grove Park. However, if you are planning to visit the Estate, the Inn is a good choice.
