Concierge can no longer book spa appts???

Our last cruise was in Jan 04 and at the Meet and greet the concierge booked our spa appt and the kids club for us. Is it true they are no longer doing this? Will they still book Palo for us? THe main reason I ask is b/c if they can't I will go ahead and book REAS so I am sure I will get the couples massage and Palo without rushing around when we board.

We cruised in early January 05 and we were instructed by concierge to go up to the Vista Lounge for bookings. They had a separate area for concierge guests and I just had to show my room key (it was in the salon). After seeing their procedure for booking, I can see why they would like it all done in one place. They don't use computers at all. First, it's completely hand written in one registration book that they keep at the spa desk. After that, I think they put it in for your personalized itinerary. Not sure how they are doing it now, I thought I had read that they went back to concierge booking them. Hopefully a more recent cruiser can let you know their experience.

and there was a spa staffer at the Meet n' Greet who took our requests, then made a phone call while we waited for confirmation. No troubles at all.
The spa was great!
