Is it true that if you book a concierge AKV unit you wont know until check in if you will have a standard or savannah view?

There are no guaranteed views but you can request one.

That's correct....you can request a savanna view but it is not guaranteed. I think there are more that have a SV than a pool view but not 100% sure. That is, out of the five 2BR lock-offs that are concierge, 3 have SV, 2 have pool view (again, I think).

I would not do concierge for the view. Do concierge for the lounge and perks. We did it in December and it was outstanding!!!

Agreed, it's not about the view. If you want view, book SV. If you want the lounge, you have to deal with a lesser view.

We also really liked the location of the concierge rooms. They are so close to the lobby and entrance. We moved to a GV from there, and we literally walked a half mile each time back and forth to the GV. We loved that room, too, but missed the ease and proximity of concierge.

We have stayed in AKV's Concierge three times now and have requested SV all three times and have gotten pool view all three times! So if a SV is really that important, don't book Concierge. However, that being said, we actually think the pool view is pretty good and don't mind it but I haven't seen the SV so I am not sure of the views.
