Hiya

I just realised I am booked to see Bryan Adams this year!!! which normally I would be all up for. But heres the problem, I will be 38 weeks pregnant!!!!

Having no experiance with being that pregnant, but thinking about it I am guessing I will be too big and too uncomfortable right?

am I right

really difficult to tell anna, i had a huge adrenaline boost during the last few weeks and felt like I could have climbed everest. I only put a stone on during the whole of my pregnancy so although i had a huge bump it was very easy to get around. if you are healthy and fit during your pregnancy anythings possible but you may find it hard going if you get prone to swelling ankles etc.

I remember seeing wet wet wet when i was haveing Bex she was doing cartwheels !!!!!!. I don't want to influence you, at the end of the day their is only one person who knows if they will be ok but Bryan Adams is awesome in concert. Some people sail through the last few weeks me on the other hand had swollen hands and ankles so i could not have done it. The best advise is wait to see how you feel as i said before only you can tell :thumbsup2

I would say if you feel up to it - go for it:thumbsup2

I saw EMF at Brixton Academy at 36 weeks - it wasn't brilliant as it was packed, I was HUGE and worried about my bump getting crushed!!! BUT in a more spacious venue with an older crowd and if you feel up to it, yeah, why not?! :thumbsup2 :goodvibes

if it was me I would play it by ear and see how you feel nearer the time and have a back up plan to give the tickets to someone else is you can't make it

Good luck

You never can tell, I was running around the park chasing my 3 year old 6 hours before his brother was born.

Absolutely agree that he is awesome in concert! Have seen him more times than I can remember from 1992 to now (not a stalker, honest, just enjoy his shows!)
I went when I was around 25 weeks pregnant, much to hubby's distaste (he muttered something about his poor child having to endure rubbish from in the womb....he isn't a fan lol!)
The thing with a Bryan Adams concert is that it isn't all screaming youngsters, it's a much more sedate audience, so I reckon if you are feeling ok you will really enjoy it. They have St John's Ambulance people there I think, and if you are in a sitting area then all the better.
Hope you enjoy it, I'm trying to find someone to come with me to see him in Hamburg in September...but hubby is away, not that he'd come anyway...might have to fly mum over from UK and leave her looking after DS whilst I boogie away!

Oh I know hes brilliant went to see him twice a couple of years ago and last year too.

I just have dh on my back saying I will go into labor while there lol.

plus Chris isnt a fan!!

It's different for everyone but at 38 weeks I was on bed rest with high blood pressure.
You really won't know until you are there, you may be just fine, you may even have delivered by then. Personally I wouldn't risk it - but then again I'm not a Bryan Adams fan.

As everyone has said only you will know-but i personally would'nt,i would be to worried that something could happen, especially if someone were to knock me etc....
I like Bryan Adams, and have seen him myself many times in concert but i still would'nt go.Just see what happens nearer the time, see how you feel etc...Just think/remember Bryan Adams will always do another concert.x.

when we went to see Take That last year, the show was delayed as someones waters broke just before it started... and they had to mop it up! lol

i think it will probably be ok... but it depends on you..a nd at 38 weeks it wouldnt be that unusual to have had the baby....

i might wait until next year and sell your tickets.. .lol

I will wait and see how you feel nearer to the time.

In most cases, although not all, first baby is usually late.
With Anna, my first, I gave up work four weeks before and she was eleven days late - I felt so good, I could have gone to work for another three weeks. During those eleven days it was torture, I wouldn't venture out very far and I felt my future mat leave with my baby was ticking away :lmao:
My friends and I all agreed when chatting about this the other day, during our first pregnancies we all looked after ourselves better. Especially those that were working, the daily routine of getting up and going to work and a bit of regular exercise were all ingredients for a fitter pregnancy.
