What is the Concierge room/level/call it what u want.
Is it a special room? Like a suite?
Are they expensive? Where do they have them?
Please enlighten me with your wisdom
Thanks
The concierge
level is generally a floor or area of a floor that you reach with a special key given to your at registration. At WDW as a concierge guest your room key will give you entry to this area.
Within the concierge level are guest rooms (hotel rooms, sometimes they are suites and other times just "regular" rooms) as well as a concierge lounge.
The guest rooms offer amenities such as upgraded toiletries (often they offer toothbrushes and paste, sewing kits, vanity kits, mouthwash, etc.) as well as robes.
The concierge lounce is another component. Here you will find various food offerings which vary by resort, but generally include an expanded continental breakfast, bottled water, soda, snacks, appetizers and wine in the early evening, and desserts and cordials in the later evening. There is a comfortable area to sit and relax, with a television and comfortable seating. The area is also staffed with CM's who will assist you in many ways, making dining or entertainment reservations, arranging for airport or local transportation, arranging for flowers, etc. There are other perks which vary by resort, from a special safari to free strollers.
The cost is generally $100 or more per night. Concierge service is only offered a the deluxe resorts. I don't feel that they are expensive, I am willing to pay for the added service and amenities. Others strongly disagree. You will likely not eat $100 worth of food in a day. You are paying for service. That is something you need to keep in mind. If you plan on leaving your resort at 8:00am every morning and not returning until midnight every night, and will be eating pretty much all fast food, it's probably not worth it for you. If you plan on spending time enjoying the resort and it's offerings, it very well might be.
