Some kinda Moana dark ride in Adventureland would be really cool (if there’s room for that kinda thing in that section of the park)

Disney doesnt really build too many new rides anymore, they just reskin existing ones. Could they reskin Jungle Cruise into Moana? Probably not given that there’s a jungle cruise movie so that IP is popular. Don’t see them doing it to POTC either, and we know Splash is becoming a Princess & the Frog Ride, so hard to see any other candidates in the park they could reskin to moana. Maybe the seas in Epcot?

Pandora, Galaxy’s Edge, Toy Story Land, Ratatouille, Cosmic Rewind, Tron, Life of Water.....the only reskin I can think of is Frozen.

Toy story land replaced the backlot tour, didn't it? Cosmic Rewind replaced UOE and appears to be delayed indefinitely anyway. Mickey & Minnie replaced TGMR. Tron is legitimately new as is Ratatouiolle, but Tron appears to be delayed indefinitely. Didn't Life of Water replace somethin that was already there as well? In any event it appears delayed indefinitely too.

What have they "reskinned" other than Frozen (which uses the exact same ride track/system that was there prior)? GotG gutted the entire UoE building and has an entirely new attraction inside. Toy Story Land (and the two new rides therein) were built on the land that used to be the Backlot...after the entire Backlot was razed to the ground. No reskin there.

Delays on opening of Tron doesn't negate the fact that it is a new ride built from the ground up.

A “re-skin” is a lot different than totally replacing a ride with something new. The parks are constantly replacing and building new things and always have been

Well, they could do something like how Stitch appears in the Tiki room in Tokyo. I wouldn’t mind a Moana overlay to the Tiki room. As long as it’s better done than Under New Management was.
