Conceirge Servies -do you?

Just watching a show about stars on tour and what all they require for their rooms. I started thinking about concerige service. They say they are there to assist in whatever you need. We have only use their services for assisting with dining. I figured this is the norm for them, but was wondering if anyone out there has used their service for anything more than dining resv., or something to help plan their trip. Have you? Just curious on how they reacted to out of the norm request.

We've used them to secure spa reservations, fireworks cruises, floral arrangements for the room, get a refill called in and filled on a forgotten presciption.

DH arranged a birthday cake to be in our room on my birthday through concierge.

also - they helped us send a gift basket to friends arriving at the lodge a few days after we were leaving.

We decided that we wish we would have purchased the La Nouba soundtrack the night after we saw the show (which was also the night before we departed). Long story made short - concierge magically got us the cd from DTD and had it placed in our room within 1.5 hours.
Also, I really enjoyed the white bean hummus from the lounge, and they were able to locate a recipe for me.
With each of these instances, we just inquired, and they made the offer to assist us. We were very pleased!!
