I bought a new cordless mouse the other day. It was still in the package, I thought I'd get around to putting it in someday.

My 8yo DD saw it and asked if she could have it. I said no, it was for my computer but that she was getting my current mouse (her's hasn't been working very well) . Said I'd get around to moving them someday.

I went to do some other things, she comes in "That's a really cool mouse, Mom!." She had istalled the new mouse on my computer and is currently working on getting hers set up.
Decided she wanted a different keyboard too.

I quess I won't have to worry about my hardware stuff! I have someone to do it for me ;)

Oh boy can I relate to that!!!!
I wouldn't have the slightest idea how to do it, good for her.
I think you need to buy her one. :)

Good for her!

When I was dising the other night I went upstairs to talk to Tim about something. When I came down Danny was sitting at the puter looking guilty. I couldn't tell that he did anything wrong so I just forgot about it. Soon after when I checked my email I had one from CC wondering why I was objecting to the New Mommy/preggo thread. Turns out that Danny hit the report to mod button. The next day he was telling me that we needed a girl around here. I quess he was objecting that I was a part of the thread.:p

I think it is so great that young people are comfortable with all of this computer stuff.

I may have to call your dd next time I need help ;)
