Complicated DME Question (and possibly a complicated reservation question)

Hi all! I'm surprising the kiddos with a trip to the World for a Star Wars Weekend, June 9-15. The cast of characters is a bit confusing:

Thursday - I arrive at MCO with DS5 and DS8
Friday - my dear sister arrives!
Sunday midday - sister leaves
Sunday late - husband arrives
Wednesday - we all leave

So there will only be 4 people in the room at any one time, but 5 round-trip "uses" of the magical express. Is this going to be an issue? How do I go about making sure this is ok? I'm considering renting DVC points to stay at BWV, so that adds on complication - it won't be a simple reservation by calling into Disney and explaining the situation. I really appreciate any and all advice.

Are you getting a room that will accomodate 5?? If so, then it is easy. Just book all of you in the room, then book DME. You can arrive when you arrive, and make correct departure reservations when you get to the DME desk.

If the room will only hold 4, then you need to split your reservations into two reservations.

Arrive Thursday, checkout Sunday - You, your kiddos, and sister

Arrive Sunday, checkout Wednesday, Your, your kiddos, and spouse

Since it sounds like you are doing room only and are not getting a package, then the split reservation won't be a problem.

Could another option be to have the ME reservations for mom, the kids, and sister...... then add Dad on to the reservation the day before he arrives for Sunday to Wednesday. The ME reservation could be made then and that way there is never more than 4 people listed in the room and no 3rd adult charge is involved...... just a thought.
