Complicated breakfast question

Please tell me if this will work. We're taking the whole family to Disney in June, staying at the Poly and paying for everything, charging food to our KTTW cards. We are not using the dining plan. Six of us have an early flight back home but one DD and family are driving and not leaving as early. The DD who is staying later wants to have a late breakfast at 'OHana and charge the food to their room. Will they be able to do this even tho we've already settled our bill and checked out? Sorry this is so confusing. TIA

(tho this was in 2006), we checked out of POFQ and still charged on our KTTW card that day at Downtown Disney. Food and souvenirs we bought at DD that day were just charged to our credit card via the KTTW card. Not sure if I'm remembering this right, but it makes sense that Disney will find a way to continue to separate you from your money for as long as possible!

Yes.KTTW cards with charging priviliges are "active" until Midnight of your check out day.There will be a separate charge made to your credit card for any charges after you "check out".

Thanks everyone for the quick replies. Makes sense that Dis will let you keep spending money as long as you want to. There sure is a lot to learn about WDW, and I've been there 3 times.

If you have the credit card charging privileges on their KTTW card they can do this. Also, if you have a credit card on the room(s) for charging you do not have to officially "check out." You will receive an envelope on your door very early the morning of check-out and as a PP mentioned, you can charge on your KTTW room key up until midnight. There will just be an adjustment to your credit card beyond the check-out time print out. Just keep in mind that the charging privileges need to be on their KTTW room card for them to charge to the card.

And you can pick and choose which family members can charge on the KTTW's and which can't. We put our ticketson our keys, so that meant that ,my 7 yr old daughter had a key as well, but we had hers say "not valid for charging" right on the front of it (lest I suddenly find we are the proud owners of a $2,000 tinkerbell collection!).
