Hey ladies, has anyone besides me ever had one of these? What did the Dr. do? Did you have surgery? Did you have drugs?
I just got diagnosed and have a couple of weeks to wait between the GP and GYN. Everyone keeps telling me that its no big deal but I'm kinda worried. Its the word "complex" that's bugging me. TIA for any info you can offer.

Be carefull. I was diagnosed with a hemoraghic cyst. It ended up being a ruptured ectopic pregnancy. The Dr. didn't figure out what it was for several more weeks. I was going in for a D/C for bleeding that wouldn't stop. They did a pre-op pregnancy test and it finally showed positive. Because it was ectopic my homone levels didn't get high enough to register on the urine test. Ended up with a laporatomy and severe anemia from the weeks of bleeding. That was 10 years and 4 kids ago. What was really weird was the same thing happened to my SIL last year. When she told me her symptoms she went back to the ER and had the blood test and she didn't go through all that I went through. Hope it's nothing and it will go away on its own but just thought I would share what happened so maybe it won't happen to someone else. Take care. Amy

My GYN diagnosed mine and I got drugs immediately and took them for 30 days which worked. I hope you have the same swift and easy results. Good luck.

My dd had an ovarian cycst (not complex?? :confused3 ) that cost her an ovary and alomost her life. The Dr. thought she had endometriosis and scheduled a scope to check it out. 2 days before surgery she is in the most horrible pain and I called the doc on call (in the middle of the night of course) and she said no big deal give her the vidocin. She didn't get any worse. So on surgery day she goes in and within 15 minutes of her going in the doc comes out and says "She's got a cyst the sized of a softball that didn't get picked up by the ultrasound because of it's size and we need to do emergency surgery because it has wrapped around the ovary and cut off the blood supply and it has died." :scared1: :faint: So they take out the ovary and cyst and no more problems. The doc was amazed that dd din't end up in the ER when the cyst wrapped around the ovary and cut off the blood supply as he said it's excruiating pain. That's when we found out dd has a high tolerance to pain. Take care-and get it taken care of before it gets as big as my dd's

Over the years I haved had 4, mine were very large and had to be removed surgically. In my case they were Dermoid cyst, there is a ton of information on the net, try googling it.
