Completely Random Election: What was your favorite channel for cartoons?

Kim Possible. Arthur. The Loud House. They’re the names you’ve heard a lot. And they all have a thing in common-they were on big channels like Disney Channel and yes, Nickelodeon, PBS and others. What was your favorite out of all them?

these were not around until I was an adult (well, pbs was but no cartoons on there back then). when my kids were little I like Nickelodeon best-rugrats, aaah real monsters, rockos modern life...

Similarly, I only had over- the-air tv stations when I was young. And cartoons could be on any of them depending on the day and time. Aside from CBS, NBC and ABC, we also had WPIX, WOR and WNEW as the main stations I recall viewing.

My children watched a lot of Nickelodeon, though not just for cartoon shows.

I am old, so no cable when I was growing up, but when I had my son it was all Nickelodeon! Even as an adult I enjoyed most of what they had, especially Ren and Stimpy.

Yes, I agree with other posters. When I was an actual child, none of these channels existed. I watch Saturday morning cartoons on one of the three networks, depending on what was offered.
