Completed!!-The Artist and the Shopper TR-2 weeks in paradise...pics and videos!

Hey fellow mouseketeers!

I am so excited. I have never been to The World that often in the lapse of a year. My budget is really starting to suffer. So I might wait a few years to go back after this one. Or maybe I'll change my budgeting a bit hehehehe

Here's the cast:

The artist (Me): 25 art education specialist. Now working in high schools. Obsessed with Disney. My colleagues know it, and so do my students hehehe

The shopper (My mom): Not saying her age. Retired. Loves traveling with me. Loves to shop at Disney while I'm going on rides hehehe

July 5 to July 19, 2008

The plan:

We got no plan. We always go commando. The reason why we go for 2 weeks. So other than our ressies, we have park hoppers and use them as we see fit. I am always tired when the school year ends, so I have days where I just wanna lie around the pool. Plus we get migraines, so we have the flexibility to rest if one of us gets one.

My carrie-on is almost ready. Most of my things are bought.

There are already clothes in my suitcase.

The UPS guy told my dad, when he answered, that it was Disney hehehe

The vouchers for the hotel and the passes arrived today!!

Now all we are missing are the plane tickets!

This week end, I'm going to try to buy all the stuff I have left to buy.

I just decided to bring a sketchbook to have some fun in the plane. So maybe you guys will be able to see some sketches

OMG!! My plane ticket is here!! Woot woot!!

It's finally official!

In 3 weeks exactly, I will be in my hotel room, or downtown Disney at the exact moment. Probably my hotel room since we are leaving at 6:45am, and have to be at the airport 3 hours before. Plus we live 1 hour away from the airport.

The suitcase is filling up fast!

But I also gotta do report cards....

Though I'm almost done and ahead compared to the last few years. I hate evaluating. If you know a teacher who likes that... I'd like to meet that person.

School is almost over.. I'm off work June 30... Yippee!

Only one more day of classes!! Yippee!!

Then it's evaluations again.

It seems that when planning an upcoming trip, the artist becomes the shopper. I checked my toilletries and I had everything I needed. Woohoo!

I was going throw some pictures from previous trips. Always hoping to get great pictures. Photopass is THE best. But there's one pic I haven't done better yet. It's all about unique interactions huh? Goofy took my hand, kissed it, then asked me to kiss his nose.

He then proceeded on fainting. But, sadly, the photographer didn't catch that. That was in May 2007.

It's coming fast!! Two weeks...my what I wouldn't do for TWO weeks at Disney! That sounds FABULOUS!! I don't blame you for needing a break! I love Photo Pass too...they are just great! I like the reservations that you've made! Chef Mickey's was a TON of fun!! Loved the pictures from your past trips, too!

Today is June 24. Quebe's national holiday!

Yep, my first language is French.

But I started learning English at a young age, did all my studies in French, but switched to English in University. So I can also teach English to kids. So it's good to be able to teach 2 subjects.

Anywayz, today being a holiday, I have the day off!! Woohoo! Which means, only 4 days of work left!

I'll keep packing my suitcase, finalize my grades, maybe do some scrapbooking, and definetaly do my window decorations. Yay!!

ok, I got 3 little 5 x 6 in. carboards done. 3 more. And that'll be for the windows. I'm doing them scrapbooking style

I just finished my window decorations. And I think I'm going to forget about the door decoration. My window decoration was too time consuming. But since I'm going to use them in my scrapbook, I don't mind. The door decoration, on the other hand...you know
