Completed first Cruise a week ago on the Wish. About to book a week on the Fantasy. Anything I should know before I pull the trigger?

We did the Secret Sands beach excursion booked through Disney in 2019. We enjoyed it. Best part is they only allow 1 ship group to be there at a time, no more than 75 people.

I looked at that yesterday. And it was already gone. We booked with 76 days to go, and it looks like most of the things we’d do are sold out. We got a couple of things. Maybe if opens up?!?! Here’s hoping.

Have you joined the facebook group attached to your cruise? People usually announce when they're dropping stuff etc.

Our cruise excursions were sold out for a while, but at about the 45 day mark(ish), they randomly dumped a TON of excursions. I usually checked every day, but I wouldn't have on that day if not for someone on the group noticing! Stuff stayed available for a good few days before it mostly got scooped up. There's still quite a few good excursions available from that drop and I'm about a month out now.

Ok! I’ve locked in Palo first night and a second night, and Remy’s! I couldn’t find a rainforest spa length of cruise pass - DW will want that.

Is the spa pass typically available before the cruise on the fantasy and already sold out, or is that not a thing on the 7 day cruises?

This cruise is the Eastern Caribbean going to Tortola and St John. We’ve been to Virgin Gorda and the baths many moons ago (Scrub Island). We haven’t been to St John.

What would you all recommend for port adventures? What have you done that you liked? Didn’t like? I’m combing through the list, but would appreciate your views.

We love the beach, sightseeing, active options, shopping - will probably pass on water activities (DW not a fan) though I like kayaking.

We did the Hike and Beach option on Tortolla. It wasn't a long hike but it was a real hike not just a walk on a paved path. The beach area was pleasant. We laid in deck chairs, had a beer, waded into the water.

We had intended to pop over to St John from St Thomas but that port go cancelled for us

We haven't been on the Wish yet (later this year) but when we did the Fantasy I loved the upper adult deck area. Nice bar up there and you can sit back, relax, have a drink, read, and take in the sea breezes.

The Fantasy is my favorite ship! I think you will have an amazing voyage.

I have not. I came off Facebook many years ago. It’s probably about time I rejoined!
