I have two adult and two junior deluxe tickets books from 1976. They are complete with the admission ticket on top.

My question is: Are the admission tickets still good?

If not do these tickets have any value?

You can take them to a Disneyland ticket booth and they will give you the face value of the tickets towards a one-day park hopper. But they destroy the ticket books when you do that. Ticket books are worth more as a vintage collectible.

I just did a quick search on ebay and saw that the ticket books from 1976 that have been sold went for $10-$12 so I guess that's what you could expect to get for them if you wanted to sell them.

Do they have sentimental value to you? That might be worth more than the credit DLR will give you or what someone would pay on ebay.

I'd be more interested in having them for my collection......I miss the old ticket books!! :)

I did some more research on old ticket books and their value. I did see the older books on ebay, checked the completed items, and checked another site that shows other past auctions. The books that went for $10 - $12 did not have the addmission ticket and were not complete. One recent sale of one complete adult book went for $249. But I'm sure that was on the high end.

Sosai X, thanks for the great name tag site. I'll have to look at my older tags and see if I have any that may not be on the site.

I guess I should look for a collector who is interested.

Since tickets for individual attractions are no longer used at DLR, they have no "use value" at the Parks. They will give you face value for them, as mentioned above. They will be worth more on ebay.

My dad used to have a drawer filled with them at his house. I asked him if I could have one many years ago and was told jokingly, "Sure, when I die you can have anything you want."

Five years ago dad sold that house. In the cleaning out and packing of everything, yep, all ticket books were thrown out. AHHHHHHHHHH!

If you need something to do with them, I would happily take them off your hands and make you a fair offer for them or donate the same amount to a charitable cause in exchange for them (or even just one).

I just looked really quick so I didn't see what kind of condition the $10-$12 ones were in. That's great if you can $249 for one! Good luck!

Thanks to everyone who helped me with my tickets.

I don't want to use these boards to sell anything. Just wanted to see if someone was a collector and knew the value.
