Huzzah! Convinced my husband that we need to do a fall trip. As of this morning, we are booked at the Boardwalk Villas in a Boardwalk view studio for Sept 14-22, 2018. It'll be our first deluxe resort (yay!) and my birthday is Sept 18th, so I'm super super excited. 
And because planning is half the fun, I'm doing a pre-trip report. Gotta do something to while away the next 330-some odd days, right?
