The best price that I can find for our 2012 is with Complete Orlando. It seems significantly cheaper, even more than Disney. This makes me wary: and i wonder if anyone can give some suggestions for why they are able to undercut the likes of Virgin or even Disney?!

Also, if I do book with them, I wouldn't have to go somewhere silly to collect park tickets would I? I'm assuming they'll be put on Keys when we check in (this is how it has been with Virgin)

Thanks!

Trying to get my head around planning!!! We loved the whole CP breakfast thing and want to do the same thing at the other parks. From my basic research, I am looking at Hollywood and Vine at HS, Tuskers at AK, BUT can't find anything at EPCOT other than Princess breakfast which really isn't down my son's street! Is there anything else at EPCOT for beakfast?

We have booked with complete orlando, they are abta bonded etc so you will be fine if all goes wrong:happytv:

Have you looked at a breakfast at cape may cafe at BC/YC that is close to epcot you can walk through the intrnational gateway

Why can any small business undercut the bigger ones? I have a Coop straight opposite my shop, selling Chysanths at £3.50, I am selling at £2.50 or 3 for £5.
Small shops have less overheads so they can pass on lower prices to the customer. Supermarkets/Holiday companies are very very good at marketing, making you think they are the cheapest out there, in reality you pay a fortune for their services/products often with a worse service.
CO will earn a very similar % but CO will probably only need a tenth of the profit to survive.
Disney don't need to discount, they sell on the name, like this next trip for us, the difference between CO & Disney.co.uk was about £150(£30pp) I didn't feel it was worth going with CO to save £150, that is what Disney relies on.

I assume tickets will be on KTTW card as they are with Disney.co.uk

I booked with Complete Orlando last year - they were the cheapest and had a low deposit option.

We arrived via BA flights at Orlando International - got magical express to OKW - checked in, were issued room/park cards -dropped off our bags and headed straight to the Magic Kingdom!

Rest assured you get your park tickets as part of your disney acommodation and as such get them when you check in (had a bad experience myself with first choice who did not give you your tickets till your welcome meeting- scheduled at 6pm on our 2nd day!! -nice staff at PopCentry gave us comp tickets to tide us over)

Wayne explains it very well, I have nothing but praise for complete orlando and we have booked to go again with them this year and am currently preparing to book a 2012 trip with them too.

We booked with CO going on Sunday (woo hoo ) and they have been great so far-respond to e mails quickly. They sent us our universal tickets a couple of weeks ago and yes the disney tickets go on the KTTW card.

After much deliberation I booked with complete orlando last week for Oct 2012.

Even allowing for quidco cashback you get when you book with disney they were just over £100 cheaper.

They are a travel agent and are obviously passing some of the disney commission onto customers.

So far i've paid just over £200 deposit, balance not due until Aug 2012 - i'll pay this with a cc for protection.

2009 and 2010 we booked with wdw direct.

One thing i'm not sure of is do you get any of the freebie vouchers with complete orlando eg the 1 round of minigolf. Not too bothered either way just wondered.

I believe that's one thing you miss out on booking with CO, we have them this trip, doubt we will use any.

The only one we used was the 1 free round of mini golf for 1 person so $15 or so. Wasn't impressed with the preferred fireworks viewing.

1st year we only used the 30 mins of arcade mins, 2nd time didn't use any. This time not sure, need to check them again, a few different ones on now, maybe the discount off boat rental if we get time, I think its 15%.

Thanks for all the info (think I'll post the breakfast thing in a new thread!!!) I'm not too bothered about the freebies as the only thing I think we would likely use are the preferred firework viewing, and that really isn't a deal breaker.
Thanks again - you guys are all amazing!

Roll on 2012. :thumbsup2

Complete Orlando have been first class for us also, cheapest deal we could find anywhere nice low dep when you book too, always answer calls and emails with excellent response , we are off in 3 weeks with just had our tickets from them this week !

Another happy CO customer so far. Emails and queries all been answered promtly. Even booked our seats on va and phoned me to tell me what was availible so we could choose. Normally book through disney and va direct but saved a lot with CO .

No flights booked yet. Will book on day of release 11 months out like we did for this year - so early Dec 2011.

I'm happy to go indirect - paid £1540 for the 3 of us for this October - flying US airways - hoping for around the £500 mark again.

Thanks for replying, I was worried then that i had been told wrong.. when adding it all up basing flights on £1800-2000, and £400 for the car i want thomson have still come out the same, just one downside i'm flying into sanford....

happy planning..x

We've used sanford in the past - smaller and you are usually away quicker after you land.

Why don't you book it all seperate instead of going thru an agent, they are only charging you to put it all together for you.

27 Aug 2012, Quality Inn International Drive, 14 nights £434.00 less 5% Quidco = £417 Monarch.co.uk
Saving £78

14 day Disney.co.uk 2012 £235 less 3% Quidco = £228, child £202, 14 day Universal/IOA @ travel republic £89, £79 child. Total adult £317, child £281
Saving for 2 ad & 1 ch £24

£102 saving before you add DC, car hire & flights.
Maybe more than £102 saving with some research, those were 1st prices I looked at. Only thing is you have to be patient, buying so far in front you will usually pay a premium.

Also if you are interested in staying onsite have you priced 14 nights in a studio at OKW/SSR?

I know for our dates a studio with complete Orlando was £1500 for 14 nights but it includes ddp.

If you will spend £1000 on food (approx $100 a day) it actually makes staying deluxe onsite at disney the same price as value offsite.
