September 16th, 2015 (Part 4)

Seeing Disney Royalty
We arrived to park #3 of the day!! We should have just gone to EPCOT and made it 4 parks in one day, honestly.

When we walked in in the park, a Disney celebrity literally drove right in front of me. I couldn't believe my luck! Who was this magical person you may ask?

GUS FROM THE MAGICAL EXPRESS VIDEO, THAT'S WHO. I wish I had photographic proof but no, I was too mistified to pull out my camera. Jk. I was too busy screaming to Hot Momma "THAT'S GUS MOM!" and then having to explain who that was.
Anyway, I'm not sure what he was doing but he was being driven in one of the citizen of hollywood cars by a CM right in front of crossroads. Don't know where he was going but I was just proud I recognized him! If you're having trouble remembering him let me help you Lol he's a ham.

So after that magical encounter, we continued on down Hollywood Blvd.
But wait, where’s the hat?!

Yeah, I kinda miss it but I understand why they had to take it down... I’ll never forget you, Sorcerer Hat.
We made our way to Animation Courtyard for a bathroom break and I saw the sign for the new Star Wars Launch Bay. I’M SO EXCITED

It was close to 2:00 now and I'm sure you can imagine, we were getting hungry. Soo, where would I be getting my lunch, you may ask?

I actually have never been here but hearing Jess (aka the Frump) rave about the Red Velvet Cupcake, I knew exactly what I needed to have for lunch.
All the food in here looked amazing, especially the sandwiches which were gigantic! They also had pastries sitting out around the store.

The CM checking us out was like "This is for a snack credit, right??" And I replied "Yes!" and she was like "...you have the dining plan?" and I was starting to freak out that there was some kind of glitch in our reservation so I was like ".....yeaaahh." Then she was like "Girl, I'm just kidding! Enjoy!!" Haha I was laughing but on the inside I was like :

So after that fiasco, we found a seat outside and I started eating this beauty. ANYBODY HEAR THAT ANGEL CHOIR OR...?

My cupcake was pretty amazing, I don’t think I'm going to crave it but then again, I’m not a big cake person anyway. But I did eat the entire cupcake if that tells you anything ha!
Mom didn’t want a cupcake so she decided to go grab some popcorn.
It was pretty good but it wasn’t as fresh as it could be.

Due to the the aforementioned inferno heat, I was on the lookout for some air conditioned attractions.
I felt like we needed to give The Great Movie Ride some love! Mom had never ridden it before and I’m a movie junkie (I’m basically an anything geeky/fandom related junkie so..) and I love it! Before we went in, I wanted to look at all the hand and footprints outside the theater because I’ve never had a chance to do it.
Of course I found all of the Star Wars ones teehee.

Then we headed into the stand-by line! We go stopped by a Mom with a stroller who didn’t speak English very well. She asked us where we could find Toy Story (which I assumed meant Toy Story Mania) and so I took this opportunity to practice my castmember skills. Using the Disney point, (aka 2-fingered point) I directed her to the right place! I never figured out if my directions made sense especially because there was a minor language barrier but it was just over a wall so I’m sure she made it alright.

The wait wasn’t long at all probably 10-15 and I was thankful to be in the dark and cold.

I had kinda forgotten that this ride had been updated since my last visit to HS in May 2014. There were only minor changes but all of them were great! Our tour guide was hilarious and very charismatic. I told Hot Momma that this would be a pretty fun ride to work at!

I was excited to see that the very last part of the ride that displays many clips from famous movies had also be updated! I’m sure they added a bunch of different clips but since this was only my 2nd time on the ride, the one I noticed was from the new Star Wars trailer! EEEEEPPP!!

After that lovely trip through the movies, We headed to the Voyage of the Little Mermaid!
I heard about the possibility that VOLTLM going away so I wanted to make sure I saw it this trip. Plus, Hot Momma had never seen it and that’s just not okay! When we walked up to the CM, she said that the show had just started and to come back in 20-30 mins. So I took this opportunity to go to One Man’s Dream for the first time. I loved this SO much. I love anything that has to do directly with Walt so this was perfect for me.

I got a little picture happy, sorry/not sorry.

It was a really cool experience that just made you appreciate Walt's innovation and creativity.
After spending time with Uncle Walt, we came back out and got in line for VOTLM. The CM was like a dead ringer for the actress who plays Regina in Once Upon A Time. It was crazy!! Hey, anybody watch the season premiere tonight? I can't wait to see it! ​

Where were we? Oh yes, 5 minutes later we were sitting down in the third row from the front. Phew! It was only the middle of the day and Mom and I were exhausted. We had a really hard time not falling asleep in that dark theater.

SO ADORABLE PEOPLE, MY HEART IS MELTING.

I can't say this is my favorite show because, Fantasmic (obvi.)
BUT I LOVE THIS SHOW SO MUCH! I think it's mainly because Little Mermaid was one of my most watched Disney movies as a kid.. Either way, it's definitely a 15 minutes well spent and I totally recommend it!

Breakfast at Be Our Guest looks cool, if just for the fact that the park was empty! We've done lunch there and I really enjoyed it, I think it would be better than the breakfast. That wait time for the ASSports bus seems crazy, I've never heard of anything that long! I agree, I don't think that Mine Train really lives up to the hype...The Red Velvet Cupcake is on my Disney Bucket List, I'm so jealous that you got to try it! On my last trip I realized that Gus worked at DHS and I got SO EXCITED too, I swear we're the same person! I'm glad to hear that you liked the updates on GMR, it's my favorite attraction at DHS and I wasn't sure if I would like it. I watched OUAT Sunday too, did you like it? I thought it was pretty exciting, especially compared to last season. I really love Emma's "new character." Can't wait to read the next update!!

Hey everybody! I need to take a pause here to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY MAGIC KINGDOM AND EPCOT!! It's quite fitting that I should make an update on such a magical day!

September 16th, 2015 (Part 5)​

The Wildest Ride In The Galaxy
After being part of Ariel’s World, we had a Fastpass burning a hole in our pocket (well, technically magic band but ya know). We made our way toward the other side of the park. We were going to one of my favorite rides ever.

STAR TOURS. I know it’s probably hard to guess but I love Star Wars (lol sarcasm). I had only ridden it once before and Mom had never been, so of course I was really pumped. But first, a necessary photo op with the AT-AT.

Yeah so apparently I’m incapable of taking normal pictures.

Then we headed on in to Star Tours! The wait was only 10 minutes but since we had fastpasses so it was more like 5. I occupied my time sending snapchats to my friend Annie who understands my Star Wars obsession.

We boarded our starship and were ready for an adventure! I really wanted to be the rebel spy, but sadly, no luck. That’s okay though because it was still a wild adventure! I had forgotten how real the ride actually feels! This trip, we went to Tatooine and the battle above Coruscant. Even though Hot Momma isn’t a big Star Wars fan, she still thought it was really fun!

We then came out into the gift shop and poked around. They had these really cute Bobba Fett and Darth Vader saddle bags that I was tempted to get but since it was only the first day I didn’t want to drop $50 right off the bat.

So instead, we headed on over to MUPPET VISION 3DDDDDDDDD. Confession: I'm obsessed with the Frump's old youtube videos from like 2011 and I literally quote them on the daily. Sorry/not sorry.
So as you can tell, I was just a little excited. Like a smidgen.
I had only done this once before when I was 8 and I really didn’t remember it. Plus I have a newfound love of the Muppets because they are actually hilarious.

There was a storm brewing. We were glad we went back to the room for those ponchos.

There weren’t but 20 people waiting outside the theater and 5 minutes later, we were sitting down.

Muppet Vision 3D is a pretty adorable 3D movie were the Muppets try to put on a performance for you but like always, something goes terribly wrong and hilarity ensues.
I wasn’t really sure what to expect from this but I thought it was pretty funny! Fozzie Bear is my favorite because his bad jokes are golden.

After the show ended, Mom and I decided that we were pretty hungry. I knew just the place I needed to take Hot Momma. Pizza Planet!! Mom always had Toy Story on for my sister and I as kids and we even had the CD that we would listen to in the car! Remember when CDs were a thing? Am I showing my age?

Anyway, It’s a good thing Pizza Planet was only a few feet away because it was POURING
Ah, the ponchos of same. How I have missed you! My May 2014 trip was VERY wet and we refused to buy ponchos until the 2nd or 3rd day only because we were SO SOAKED. But we branded them the ponchos of same because we swore we would never buy one.

But now, we have learned the error of our ways and donned on our ponchos of shame and bolted over to Pizza Planet. We made it inside being only minorly soaked and ordered some of that beautiful Disney pizza. After we ordered, we found a seat near the arcade games! They had some really unique games that I never noticed before! I was sad to note that they didn’t have THE CLAAAWWW. BUT they did have a really cool Star Wars game I wanted to play!

I got basic pepperoni pizza with caesar salad and a cookie. Mom got the vegetable pizza with a caesar salad and a cookie as well. Unfortunately they forgot to give Mom her cookie so she had to go back and get it. Apparently I don't have a picture of her pizza, sorry.

While she was gone, I noticed that we had made it inside just in time. All the families were pouring into Pizza Planet SOAKING wet. It didn’t look like too much fun.

Mom came back 10 minutes later cookie in hand.Okay mini rant: I don’t expect special treatment from Cast Members all the time but I was a little surprised that they didn’t offer something for forgetting add that. This kind of thing happened a lot this trip. It didn’t make me upset or anything I think I just have come to expect all Cast Members to go over and above all the time which is just crazy because they obviously can’t do that for every guest.
ANYWAY, Hot Momma and I enjoyed our warm pizza and it felt nice just to sit down. We were really struggling to keep our eyes open but I was determined to keep going. I had gotten an awesome Fantasmic Fastpass and I really wanted Mom to see the show but it was only 5:30 and Fantasmic didn’t start till 8:00. There were still a few things I wanted to do so I was hoping we could keep moving. I promise I’m usually not this boring in Disney but we were going on 5 hours of sleep here…

September 16th (Part 6)

That's What You Call A "Bandana Stitch!"
We finished up our lovely dinner and headed to the restroom. I didn’t even know this but Pizza Planet has a bathroom that opens up to the outside which I thought was very nice. Mom and I saw that it still seemed to be raining so we put back on our ponchos. I also changed into flip flops because nobody wants wet shoes am I right?

I took Hot Momma to Streets of America because A.) something about this place just makes me so happy. and B.) I hear it is soon to be no more. Also, has anyone else heard that this will be the last year for Osborne lights? I’m SO sad, I wish I could see it.

When we got there, we realized it was barely misting so I put my tennis shoes back on so my feet wouldn’t be cold.
I really do feel like I’m on a movie set when I’m back here! I love all the background noise they play to make it feel so real.

Blurry picture but I have to show you because it cracks me up. Mom and didn’t like our ponchos of shame.

I think this is HILARIOUS! I have friends who were in Guys and Dolls last year and this reminded me of their Brooklyn accents.

And then I saw this beaut! I knew this existed in Studios but I didn’t know where! I swear, this TR has turned into a Once Upon A Time fan page. No one’s mad.

For those of you who haven’t see the show, Mr. Gold’s pawn shop contains almost all of the possessions of the fairytale characters when they got sent over to our world.
It’s hard to see but it’s Emma’s mobile! They had many more props from the show in there. It was pretty cool to see!

We went down the street and I saw in opportune photo op. I’m singing in the rain. LITERALLY.

Okay, wasn’t there a way you could pull a chain and make rain come down on the umbrella? I was pulling on everything I could think of but no water was coming out. I’m sure I looked ridiculous. Ah well.

I kept seeing signs for Watto’s Grotto and obviously I was intrigued. We followed the arrows to a little shop that I *believe* that it’s right across from backlot express.I had expected them to have a little more Star Wars merchandise but it was mostly things that you could find around all the parks.

I did find this Polly Pocket-like Princess Leia and Padme dolls.

My friend Annie that I mentioned before, (BTW hi Annie, I’m glad you’re reading) and I have deemed Anakin Skywalker our “Bae” and Han Solo the “Original Bae” so obviously I had to send this to her.
Okay, the Padme doll had a tiny little picture of Anakin.

And Princess Liea had a tiny picture on Han.

I almost bought it but I knew I would never play with it. After we finished up in there, we headed up toward the front of the park. We went through Pixar Place and caught a glimpse Buzz and Woody meeting! I love how they have that window that opens to the walkway.
I got a picture of this because if you haven’t caught on, I’M SO EXCITEDDDDD.

First, we stopped in Keystone Clotheirs. They had CUTE clothes! They had some adorable scarves, and t-shirts that I really wanted but I like to wait until the last day to buy expensive things like clothes and such.
Mom and I headed on over to the Men’s part where they had this shirt that I loved!!

We went across the street to Disney & Co. and were literally having trouble keeping our eyes open. It was now 6:30pm and still misting outside. Mom and I agreed that we didn’t want to wait another hour+ to see Fantasmic just for them to say they won’t have the show because of the rain. I hated to say it because I knew Mom would love the show but I wanted to make sure that we didn’t start off our trip being exhausted. So we decided to just finish shopping and head back to the room.
I was super tempted to get this notebook. It had Darth on each page and it was soo amazing but unfourtunately not $17 amazing for just 50 pages.

When I get a house I’m totally putting this beside the door.

We then went across the street to Cover Story. Mom and I were in heaven here! They had so much Disney kitchenware. My favorite were the Mickey measuring cups and the spatulas that are Mickey’s hands. Gah, I just love them!

If you read my last trip report, you will know that I wish I was actually british. Well since then, I pretty sure my love for England has only grown and now I’m an addicted tea drinker. So naturally, I was drawn to the Wonderland Tea. They had a Wonderland themed French press, tea sets, and mugs.

I went with this set. They were in a metal tin that stack on top of eachother, I thought they were VERY cute. It came with 24 bags and three different flavors for about $12 which I didn’t think was a horrible deal. So far, I’ve tried to “Mad Tea Party Blend” and “Lemon Honey Chamomile” and I thought they were VERY good! The one bad thing about these teas is that it doesn’t tell you how to brew the tea or what they taste like which I feel like could turn some people off.
I love the sticker on the top of the tin.

After making that purchase, I thought I should locate the new Starbucks AKA the Trolley Car Cafe.

CUTEST STARBUCKS EVER. The themeing is flawless.

I popped in there to grab a Disney Parks Starbucks tumbler. I had been waiting so long for this baby and I was so excited!!

These tumblers run a little more expensive than the normal ones you would buy in a Starbucks. This one was $21 and I think they normally run for about $15 but to me, it's totally worth it because IT’S SO PRETTY!!
I decided not to buy any coffee because I wanted to be able to sleep, ya feel?
So we headed toward the front purchases in hand. Hey there, crossroads!

We made it to the bus and I can’t quite remember but I don’t think we had to wait very long before it picked us up and brought us to Sports! Hot Momma and I headed back to our room! So it was about 7:00 at this point and we had been going for 13 hours now, so you would think we would crash then and there, right? LOL NOPE.
We grabbed our mugs and headed back to the main building. First, we went to the food court and I got some hot water so I could have some tea and I believe Mom got ice water. Then we popped into the gift shop. I was sad that I didn't bring any pins because I missed a prime opportunity! The CM’s had some cool ones! Mom and I took our time looking at all the pins they had for sale, and clothes, and kitchen supplied before we decided to buy to get this ADORABLE pin for my sister!

Remember that lady who got on the bus with us at MK? Well she was one of “those” people that you just keep seeing everywhere you go on your vacation. Does anyone else have this happen to them?

So I saw her and told Mom “Hey, there’s that lady again!” and I didn’t know but she was reading the back of the pin card and said “It’s called Bandana Stitch” but I thought she had meant that when you keep seeing people over and over again it's called “bandana stitch” hahahaha
I didn't figure out that’s what she meant until later that night and we had a good laugh. Maybe we were sleep deprived.
We headed back to our room, I had my tea and we relaxed and watched 16 candles. I think I also tried the chocolate chip croissant and WOAH it was delicious.
We went to sleep around 9:00 that night COMPLETELY pooped!

September 17th, 2015 (Part 1)

Monsoons and Loosing Hot Momma?
The alarm was set for 8AM but I think I actually woke up around 7:30 because I was just so excited to get the day started! Mom and I showered and got ready and left the room a little after 9:00. I really didn’t feel the need to make it to Animal Kingdom pre park opening because I felt like even coming in late, we could still get everything we wanted to get done. A bus pulled up really quickly, it was one of those charter buses with the fabric seats which I have to say, I kinda perfer to the normal Disney busses although, it didn’t play Disney music or have the special spiel when we pulled up to the park.

On our way there, Hot Momma and I ate our breakfast. Since we were on the Quick Service Disney Dining Plan, we only get two QS credits and one snack credit. I’ve never liked wasting a snack credit for breakfast because I feel like it isn’t the best value for the credit. On a normal day, we always eat a breakfast bar for breakfast so I just decided to bring them for us to eat in the morning. These are the ones we’ve been liking lately because they have a BUNCH of protein which keeps us full for a really long time. This is what it looks like, it worked out really well for us. I’m actually eating one for breakfast as I type this. (Obviously I'm posting this later, I promise I don't eat breakfast at 2:00 in the afternoon)

So, of course as we pull up to the bus stop at Animal Kingdom, it starts monsooning. Mom and I threw on on ponchos before getting off the bus but still waited under the cover of the bus stop hoping the rain might calm down a little.

Everyone else had the same idea as us..

Of course, it didn’t stop so we decided to just go for it. Even though I did have a poncho I really wish I hadn’t forgot my umbrella because it would have come in handy. We made it through bag check fairly quickly considering it was pretty congested. Like I’ve said before, I don’t know AK incredibly well so once we entered the park, I ran for a map then we ducked under the stroller and wheelchair rental so we could get out of the storm. We had 9:45-10:45 fastpasses for Expedition Everest but I assumed it wouldn’t be running in a rainstorm. So I decided to do what any other sane person would, go to Starbucks! Once I figured out how to get there, we headed that way.

Though we didn’t make it 10 steps when my Mom discovered DiVine! If you have never heard of her, she is this part tree/ part woman who is quite elusive. She mostly hides in the trees and waits for someone to notice her, it’s really cool! Mom made me take a picture but I didn’t want to get my camera wet so I just held the camera up through the head hole in my poncho to snap this. But you can see her leg there and her arm is wrapped around the light pole.

Mom thought she was SO cool and even came home and was watching videos of her on Youtube.

On our way past the Tree of Life, Mom said she saw this family all geared up in their ponchos taking a photopass picture and looking like they were having a ball. I love families like that, they just automatically make my life better.

We made it over to Starbucks and the rain had slowed down a little bit. If I’m not mistaken, this is the newest Starbucks on property, I know it opened fairly recently. It's called Creature Comforts.

Again, I can’t say enough on how perfect the theming was.
This is when I get excited that I didn’t use my snack credit for breakfast because that means I can have a venti sized drink which is over $5 and means a snack credit well spent.
Now, it’s September, and I’m about the most basic white girl ever so WHAT could I have chosen for my beverage….? If you guessed Pumpkin Spice Latte you are correct! Usually I prefer Starbuck’s frappuccinos to anything else they have but because it was so rainy outside believe it or not, I was actually a little cold so I went for the hot version. Hot Momma isn’t a coffee drinker so I suggested she get the frappuccino version because it has less of a coffee taste. But once we got our drinks, Mom decided that the hot version actually had less of a coffee flavor than the cold one.

It took them about 5 minutes to get us our drinks which wasn’t bad considering the place was pretty busy. Here’s mine! I will forever want that adorable Disney Parks logo on all my cups forever.

When Hot Momma got her drink I was so fascinated because that iconic green straw was actually made of paper! I know this is for the benefit of the animals so that they don’t ingest plastic but It just amazes me how Disney literally thinks of everything! You can also see that they spelled my name wrong on the cup. Haha, at this point in my life I’ve basically given up trying to get anyone to spell my name correctly. If you have a different spelling for your name you’ll totally understand.

SO we got our drinks and stood outside under the building’s awning hoping that the rain might settle a little bit.

After about 10 minutes, It really wasn’t raining that bad anymore so we just enjoyed our drinks and people watched. Don’t judge people, I know you Disney people watch too, you just can’t help it. I checked the Disney World app and saw the EE wasn’t closed for the rain after all and we only had about 30 mins left to use our fastpasses so we put up our hoods and headed that direction. I obviously had to stop here for a photo because it’s like the best spot in the park.

We made our way on around toward the Tree Of Life and we saw this little path that made for the PERFECT spot to get the tree in the background so obviously, we had to stop and get some selfies.

Once we did that, we FINALLY made it to Asia and to Mount Everest!

We got up, scanned our bands and were let through the FP+ line.

I honestly have no idea why I took this picture but here’s a monkey statue for you!

This is the part where I regretted getting a venti sized drink because the line went so quickly I was left to chug the rest of my drink before we got on because you have to throw it away before the CM will let you by. But I had most of it drunk anyway so I didn’t have to waste too much.

Now, Hot Momma hates big drops and the only other time she came to AK was in 2006 they were filming commercials on Everest so we couldn’t ride. So she had no idea what this was going to be like and didn’t realize until the ride started moving that I may have roped her into something she wasn’t going to like. But because this is quite possibly my favorite ride on property, I knew she would (probably) like it too.
Every time we would go up a steep hill she would just be like “HOLLYE WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?” but then realize that the big hill was all for show and was only a small drop. But when we got to the part where the yeti has ripped up the track and we started going backwards the whole time she was yelling “HOLLYE! HOLLYEE!!!” hahahaha.
Good news is, when the ride came to a stop, she did admit that she liked it.
So yay!
We came out into the gift shop and spent a little time shopping around in there. They had the CUTEST little girls clothing. I wanted to have them in my size! We were looking for something to get for my sister because all of the things in there really matched her personality. But we wanted to wait until we visited Morocco in EPCOT because she LOVES it there too. So, we continued on out and found the nearest restrooms.
Then we decided to make our way to Discovery Island. I had to stop and take a pictures of these bricks though, not sure why maybe because they had writing on them? haha.

I stopped without giving Mom any warning and so we momentarily lost each other.

Seeing The Best Stage Show EVER
But never fear, I didn't loose Hot Momma for long, she was only 10 feet away so I found her pretty quickly. Nobody, not even a teenager, wants to be lost in Disney!

So it was now close to 10:45 and it was time to do something I had waited almost a year and a half to do....

But first,

Yay, Discovery Island sign!! We passed by Flame Tree BBQ and it smelled SOO good! Mom and I made a note to think about it for lunch.

I also saw this poorly concealed construction! You could clearly see it on the bridge to get to Dinoland. I believe this is the Pandora construction but someone correct me if I’m wrong?

Hmmm.. where could we be going??

IN THE BIIIG BLUEEE WOOOORRRLLLLDD

Yep, Finding Nemo The Musical!! We made it just in time for the first showing of the day at 11AM! We didn’t have fastpasses for this show because I believe it was WDWPrep2GO (the podcast) that gave the tip to not get a FP+ for Nemo but get it for Festival of The Lion King. Because the theater for Finding Nemo is so large and the fastpass seating isn’t actually as good as the seats higher up! So yeah, I would highly recommend that podcast, the lady always has amazing tips!

SO, here I was back again after 15 months of being apart ready for my favorite stage show ever. Yes, you heard it EVER. Even better, Hot Momma had never seen this show so I was curious to see what she thought about it. Though she does know the “TOOGETTHEERRR” part from the songs because my sister and I still sing it when we’re doing something together.

The show started about 5 minutes after we got seated and we went on the magical adventure where Nemo touched the butt. It was a wonderful thing.

If you don’t love this show solely because it’s beautiful, then you have to appreciate the soundtrack. OH THE SOUNDTRACK. It’s on spotify, listen to it, you won’t be sorry!

I was that annoying person that sang every song but I wasn’t even mad because I was so happy. I think many people want to skip the stage shows because they think there are an hours or more long but in reality, they are 30 minutes tops. I’m always surprised how quickly they go by!

So I’m not going to lie, I did get a little teary eyed when Nemo stops himself before leaving for school and gives his dad a hug. JUST. PRESH.

Okay, you get it, I love Finding Nemo, sorry.

So like I said, the show was over quite quick and we were back out near Dinoland.

Our window for our next fastpass had already opened but thanks to my handy dandy app, I saw that Dinosaur was a 10 minute wait and because I love being scared so much that I pee my pants, Mom and I headed in that direction.

We got in the standby line and was handed Disney’s version of the golden ticket. Anyone hear those Angels?! IT’S THE ONE, THE ONLY, RED CARDDD!!!

Okay, seriously what it the hype about these? Lol

So we were roped into a time travel mission much to close to a meteor shower but who really cares? I mean, what could go wrong??

I’m really unsure how I feel about the ride. I love it in theory, but I feel like I spend most of my time riding it with my eyes shut hahaha.

Because I know the T-rex jumps out at you near the end, I don’t want to take my chances so I have my eyes squeezed shut and my head turned to the left. Yeah, yeah I’m a wimp. Mom actually didn’t think the ride was scary at all which I found quite funny.

Thankfully, we made it out just in time thanks to a kind dinosaur saving us from a fallen tree.

We exited through the gift shop and took a little path down to another shop. I couldn’t resist getting a picture with the dino statue. I think posing with statues has become a Disney tradition see?

I’m SO sad it turned out blurry but I think that was partly due to the misty rain that had started to fall. So we went into the little shop right beside that dinosaur and it had the coolest ceiling! It reminded me of World of Disney in Downtown Disney (wait, isn’t it officially Disney Springs now? That’s going to take some getting used to!)

They also had really adorable dog accessories that Mom and I really wanted to get for my dog, Lucy! But we’re all about not having to carry extra things around and I’m leery about having things sent to our room because I’m afraid it will get lost in the process.

I believe we made yet another bathroom stop and then headed over to use our next fastpass.

We passed FlameTree BBQ again and Mom said that’s where she wanted to have lunch in a little while. I couldn’t blame her. I have a friend and that’s her mom’s favorite place to eat in all of Disney. Based on the smell I’m sure she had good reason. But before we could eat anything, we needed to use our 2nd fastpass of the day! What could that be you ask? Kilimanjaro Safaris!! Both Mom and I were very excited for this!! We went on it in 2006 and Mom had enjoyed it so I’m glad I scored a FP+ for it.
