Compare Week of March 16 vs. March 23

Hi all,

Relative newbie here. Been to Disney World once before in October 2010. My family and I had a great time. Due to scheduling issues we are planning to return in March this year. Wanted to get thoughts on if one of those weeks is better than the other.

I did a little review and it looks like the parks will be busy both of those weeks. Easy WDW has the week of March 16 about a 7 for the most part. The week of March 23 8s and 9s. I don't have a Touring Plans subscription so I don't know what they are estimating. One upside for the week of March 23 is that Splash Mountain is supposed to be back in service. My kids love that ride! Maybe the mine train ride will be having a soft opening then?

Touring Plans has lower crowd predictions than EasyWDW for march 23rd week but both indicate it will be a busier week than March 16th. We have to go march 23rd week because of spring break - planning on big crowds and concerned how well FP+ will perform during peak season. The Christmas season wasn't a true test as legacy FP was still available but likely that will be gone by March in all parks.
