I was wondering how the food court at POR compares with the one at ASMo. Is it the same types of food and do they have different stations to get burgers, or sandwich, meals, etc.? Any info on the Riverside food court good or bad would be appreciated.

It has been 6 years since we stayed at ASM but we ate just last week at POR and POFQ. I list both because you can eat at both with just a 5 minute walk. At POR I was especially happy about the "create your own pasta bar" Shrimp or chicken, your choice of pasta, add on any and all toppings, pepprers, olives, spinach, tomatoes, onions etc. Both food courts have several stations. Some are pizza and burgers etc, some are grilled chicken salads etc. Other stations are meat and veggie kind of plates. POR also have a carvied meat station. Jambalaya, Creole dishes are also at POFQ. All in all, great food court environment and food.

My perspective is purely from the ASMo side as we've never stayed at POR. The movies is divided along movie theatre themed stations and basically you can get anything you want for any meal served fresh from one of the stations or there is a huge selection of prepared items in the coolers and back wall sections. in the evening, you can get anything from pasta to prime rib meals and the morning pastry station turns into the ice cream fountain station. we asked one year if the prime rib was any different than that served at the park eateries and were told no. it's all the same. We'll be headed there in a couple weeks:cool1:

hi,
do you remember the price of this create your own pasta bar ??

thanks !

We were on DDP so my receipt doesn't show but if I remember correctly it was either $6.99 or $7.99. Very reasonable.

We have stayed at the POR 3 times and love the food court for any meal. When we were there in Oct 05 (Hurricane Wilma) we stayed for 3 days longer than our normal stay so to economize we ate alot of meals at POR. The taco salad, prime rib sandwich and BBQ chicken and ribs were awesome!

In Oct 06 we tried the pizza and pasta selections and they were good too.

Breakfast is the same no matter what resort food court you go to.

I have not been there since they remodeled it.
