Compaq Presario

Anybody have experience with them? I'm look at one for the kids - for WORD, Software games, etc.. mainly, not even internet. It has 40 GB hard drive, 256 MB memory, HP CD-RW Drive, 17 inch monitor, with Windows XP Home for $500. Thanks!

That's odd it should come with a 56k fax modem 10/100 enthernet card. You can buy a computer with all that now for about 500.00 dollars.

I would check with www.walmart.com and www.bestbuy.com You can get a better buy for money.

But if won't the computer without intenet it should be fine. But I would consider get one I can upgrade in the future.

I will back in a few moments with recommedtion for a cheap computer in a minute.

Compaq is made by HP. It a pretty good product.
